We purchased the 6mm thick glass frameless mod kit for our tub-shower. The kit is relatively high quality and I found the instructions easy to follow. It’s a bit unnerving drilling through your tile but it is what it is. The only thing that you REALLY need to understand about this install is that for a standard 14” tub height (which is actually 13 1/2”) along with the 59 1/2” height you will end up with an OVERALL door height of 73”. However, the upper frame is 2 1/4” thick so your overall height of opening will be 71”. This is too low and it’s right on the bitter edge of looking too small. Someone 6’ tall will have to duck to enter the shower. The bad part is its not something youd really think to check for standard tub, door, etc. hence the warning. They should really make this kit at least 3” taller

In the middle of the install, I find one of the screws in the roller assembly that needs to be loosened (instructions say to remove it) is cross threaded. SoTrying to loosen the cross threaded screw to install the roller and the screw shears off. I'm on my second attempt to call Delta's customer service to get a replacement part. First attempt I gave up after 45 minutes of being on hold, currently on hold again for last 45 minutes while I write this review. I'll update if things get better

it's called "soft close" but it doesn't. The one in the store had this feature but the one I bought doesn't work like that.

Missing parts. Passing the buck to Delta. Delta says it is Home Depot's issue. Parts appear NEW between two manuals, (2018 online vs 2019 instructions in box) Did Home Depot give me an out-of-date kit?

Water gets sprinkled out at the bottom and the space at the top. Not sure what the space at the top is needed for. I personally don’t recommend this product

Very happy with the quality and ease of install. The soft close doors are very helpful with small kids in the house, no slamming doors. Also the finish on the glass is amazing, no water marks.

looks and works great. Very happy with it. And the soft close is peace of mind after our kids shattered the last door we had in.

bottom track corner bumpers are trash. thought they were disposable temporary plastic templates or spacers.. then i got to line whatever on the instructions and it says to glue it in place as the permanent corner bumper trim..... looks like plastic packaging material. i don't see it holding up well over time. The soft close is a slick feature and the installation was pretty simple. it looks like in the bathroom remodel.. expensive unit for what you actually get though..

The product is very good. But as a thirty+ year licensed builder with lots of hands on knowledge the installation instruction are terrible. After reading them multiple times, I determined how to properly install the doors. I should have made a You Tube video to explain a faster more logical process. The end product looks great. Lets see how they hold up.

Delta is great product everything fit just right looks great thanks for selling their products

If your drilling into tile. You use a 3/16 drill bit. The wall anchors in the kit are only for showers that use anything but tile. So you don’t have the proper equipment from the get go. But don’t know this tell you have already started the project. If Delta is going to sell this kit for instillation into tile or drywall...then they need to include both wall anchors..or give direction to what accessories you will need depending on your instillation.

Love the soft close. Frosted glass has a slight aqua tint that goes with my bathroom. Nicely designed.

Love the look of the doors. They really finish my new bathroom!!
