Purchased at the local Home Depot 4 days ago. It takes the right tool to get all the old silicone from the earlier door installation. Home Depot carries a dandy little red plastic tool -- in the paint department. After getting all the visible silicone off, Goo and rubbing will get back to the fiberglass, nice & pretty. This took most of a long evening. This was a well studied project for my DYI. There is another brand Dream---- that is 5/16 glass. I downloaded the instructions and it seemed clear that Delta had better ideas. Was a bit nervous during the installation but all went well. It took an afternoon and an evening. But I am slow and careful. The door hanging was done the next day after the silicone firmed up. The instructions don't mention this, but in the step where the bottom is installed, four lengths of tape across the bottom piece - from inside the tub to well down the outside - holds the piece down and secure during the silicone curing (overnight, plus another day?). Otherwise, it may not want to conform to the edge of the bath tub. There is a clear error in the parts bag. The two stainless screws that secure the door guide, in the middle of the bottom piece are #8 screws. These should have been #6. Home Depot had them in the screw department for $1.18 for seven and they fit the guide piece perfectly! I've returned the door handles. There are only three models to pick from and all are 3 3/8 inch and stick too far into the shower where they will get in the way - and outside where a door swings toward the tub. Delta makes a another handle that sticks out only 2 inches. They are called Lyndall and hard to find. I found my on eBay.

Clean, Modern Design that Translates Well in Many Bathroom Styles
These sliding glass shower doors for a bathtub with shower enclosure look and feel really nice once installed. I did need to have professional help to install these but the results are stunning and so worth it - creating an immediate upgrade in a dated bathroom! The "droplet" glass is just the right amount of privacy for a bathroom, and the doors slide smoothly on the track - feels much nicer than a standard sliding shower door system.

Impressive
I was very impressed with the way this shower door turned out. Literally looks like a professional did it. I installed it all by myself. It took me about a half day taking my time. The included printed directions were right on with explicit details and illustrations. The total package is very heavy. It was delivered on a pallet and for good reason. A 3 inch deep miter box is a must and a new hacksaw blade. We are very impressed with the quality and workmanship. The glass doors are made from tempered glass. The chrome finish matches the existing décor. Nothing cheap or flimsy. First rate quality!!!

Modern styling
Doors were delivered in excellent condition, I found all hardware and glass doors packaged very well. I had one of my shower walls way out of plumb I thought that would problem but the way the side jambs were designed they worked okay. After I finished the installation I did have to readjust both doors but they lined up correctly and looked good.

Very nice great quality and glass is fog resistant
Very nice high quality shower door enclosures. The instructions were good and it was very easy to install. The frame is heavy and good quality to hold your glass doors in place. The glass doors are very high quality and heavy. They slide very easy in the sturdy frame. The glass is also fog proof which I found out after using and this is a very nice feature. You do need to purchase some tub and tile caulk to seal around the frame after installing. A very nice shower door enclosure and really improved the look of my bathtub.

Beautiful Rain Glass Doors
First of all the glass doors are very heavy and beautiful. The installation took about two hours or so. One thing to mention is that if you have a older home with a one piece tube which mine is eighteen years old the top rail sits about three inches to high as you can see from my pics but the door functions correctly. The quality of the hardware is top notch and the nickle finish was flawless. The top rail is reversible if you want a smooth side or and more fancy sculpted design. The only concern I have is that when you are in the tube there isn't a knob to open the side that the towel rack is on so you have to grab the glass door to open it but it;s not a big deal.

I'm getting too old for this...
This is my second shower door installation in a double-wide mobile home. Through no fault of the manufacturer both installations were nightmares. This one is a by-pass door on a bathtub. The tub is way out of level. The right wall is plumb but the left wall is out of plumb by 3/4" with the top leaning out. No big deal, I cut a 2x4 on a taper from 1-1/4" down to 1/2" and siliconed it into the channel. The left channel is now plumb and the 2x4 gives me something to caulk against. I forgot about the tub being out of level and finished the install. I realized my mistake when the left hand door wouldn't stay closed. I'd close it and it would slide open all by itself. The only cure was to remove everything and shorten the left wall channel by 1/2" to get the top channel back to level. This solved the problem but a lot of time was spent adjusting the door heights so they wouldn't rub on the bottom channel. Finally, it was done. This is my fifth Delta shower door installation and I can't fault the product in any way. These doors are inexpensive and well built. I especially like that the "hang" of the doors is easily adjustable. The glass is coated, thick and heavy. Also, the doors run smoothly in their channels. I'm a real estate investor and as my tenants move out I'm slowly upgrading all my tubs and showers to glass doors. I'm very happy with the quality of the Delta doors and their 5 year warranty so I'll stick with them.

VERY PLEASED
Packaged nicely when I picked it up, I thought I'd need to rent a truck but it all fit into the SUV just fine. Didn't take all that long to install by the handyman. I've had them in a few weeks now and I love it. It's sturdy and easy to slide the doors, feels well built. What I really like is having the rails on top and out of the way of the shower water, no scrubbing or cleanup of soap scum, etc. if they were also on the bottom. I really like that there's already a waterproof coating on the interior glass to bead the water, I just wipe it down on Saturday. In all, I would recommend them

Good quality, easy install, nice!
Ordered this for a vacation rental I manage. It arrived quickly and complete. Installation was straightforward and simple and the instructions were clear. The rain glass and brushed nickel finish look very nice so overall this was a very economic upgrade to the guest bathroom.

Dealta Simplicity was simple to install !
As noted by an earlier customer, expect an almost black painted aluminum vs. the typical bronze tone like their faucets. It was simple to install but if your tub has just a minor imperfection on how plumb it was when installed, you will find the glass panels sliding away from their smooth tracks. Which means from any side, it will expose a gap between the glass and the wall bracket. And spilling water out into the bathroom when showering. I am awaiting for the missing center bumpers, and hopefully, that may keep the glass panels in place while showering. Otherwise, it is a great value. Pick it up at the store and save $99 delivery charges. Just a bit heavy (84 lbs) so i took the pieces out of the box while it is still in the car.

Good look at good price
Sorry we didn't do this sooner! These doors were fairly uncomplicated to install. I recommend using Crystal Clear DAP 3.0 caulk for an especially clean look. Note: the plastic center door guide requires that you drill into the bottom track for installation. It is attached using self-tapping screws and I highly advise that that the screws be caulked to prevent water seeping into and becoming trapped in the bottom track.

Pretty Nice
The main reason I didn't give this a higher rating is because it is a little too short and my shower head goes over the top. I think it is because I have an older tub that isn't as deep. I would recommend only getting this if you have a newer tub that is a nice depth so the shower doors are an appropriate height and not too short. It also doesn't help that my shower head is particularly arched and high. It may be a good idea to get this product if you have a shower head that points downwards. I also think the installation isn't that easy. The doors don't slide as smooth as I would like, but that could be a problem on my install end. My handy man had some trouble, but got it done. Other than that, it looks great and the price is perfect!

This is a beautiful sliding door.
This is a beautiful sliding door. Easy to install. You need to buy 5/16 tile drill bit if installing on tiles. Over all height after installation turn out to be 2" higher than 56-1/2".

Nice Doors
My only complaint with these doors are because they are frameless there is a pretty good gap between the doors (3/4") when they are closed during a shower. This wide gap and because they only overlap less than 1 inch when fully closed leaves room for water to splash out of the tub area while showering. I would not recommend buying frameless doors for this reason.

Great Product!!!
Good quality, easy install, easy cleaning. We are very happy with the mosaic pattern and how nicely the doors glide. Lots of bang for the buck and really opened up our small bathroom. Room feels larger and brighter. Will be ordering for our guest bathroom as well. The only glitch we had was we had it delivered to store for free shipping. The clerk didn't realize there were three boxes and only gave us the big one containing the glass doors. Involved a second trip back to the store for the two other packages containing the handles and track the day of the installation. So for store pick-up, make sure you get all three boxes.

Great Product
As long as you have a professional to do your work it will come out fine. It looks great as well as making my bathroom look a million times better. No leaks or any bad defects on this product. I would extremely recommend. I will be doing my second bathroom very soon.

Great doors at a great price
I recently remodeled our second bathroom with new tile, pipe, shower and tub controls... the works. I have to say, I originally was just looking to replace the hardware from the 70's gold to a more modern chrome but for the price, it's a no brainer to replace everything. The shower doors slide extremely easily and the installation isn't that difficult. Just take your time and follow the fairly straight forward directions. The only thing I can really nitpick is the anchors for the wall. I installed it through brand new tile that had set up already with 1/2" hardibacker board behind it. The spanning wall anchors that are included didn't really make me that comfortable going into the tile. I may be wrong but I think the tile may have cracked if the hole isn't drilled out enough. I ended up using some regular wall anchors that I had instead which ended up requiring a smaller hole to be drilled in the tile. Worked like a charm and there is no way it's moving. Just remember to get a concrete drill for the initial holes into the tile to prevent them from cracking while drilling. You can then carefully ream out the hole to bigger sizes as needed. An important thing to remember is to wait to install the bottom bumper on one side so you can drop the bottom channel down to it's final position. It doesn't matter which side, just leave one out until you have it in there. They could tell you that in the instructions a step earlier! Track design is nice since it has no side on the inside of the tub. The water drains back into the tub rather than sitting in a channel like the old school one's. I really appreciate this feature since it will make cleaning the track a snap later. The towel holders seem to be fairly secure. The gaskets that are between the pieces are a bit of a pain to get sitting right at first but it all works just fine once you get it in there. Overall, you can't beat the price and the quality. Remember, this is a Delta product. They aren't going anywhere and they stand behind their products. There was a slight delay with the shipping but one call to Home Depot's customer service line made everything better. They made shopping with them online easy as it could be and the customer service was superior to many other stores. It even prompted me to write an email to praise the person that helped me. (I don't usually do that!) Overall, I highly recommend considering this product. The price is right and I really can't see why you would pay more for basically the same thing. I've attached some pictures to show, it is really that nice!

Beautiful Door
the install was very easy as long as you have the proper tools. Bought a 5/16" Tile Drill Bit and it bolted up perfectly and strong. I didn't have a sharp hacksaw blade so I used my Tile Cutter to cut the top and bottom pieces. Came out great. Very solid.

Terrific value if installed well
We just replaced an older sliding (framed glass) enclosure with this door - meaning the glass panes themselves had frames and gaskets around the glass panes - HORRIBLE for collecting bio-films in cracks where you CANNOT get to the films to clean them. This enclosure has glass only slabs with no frames around the glass panes so nowhere for bio-films to hide in cracks. It also has some of the plainest base extrusion of any of these type doors, which is critical to having a slime-free surface on the bottom extrusion (you want a PLAIN bottom track that is not full of ridges and such where water stays and grows things). Installation was straightforward for a skilled installer. I used a non-ferrous high tooth count metal blade on a circular chop saw and the cut was perfect, if you have this option it is much, much better than hand cutting with a hack saw, etc. It's very important to check level and plumb on the side frames and dry fit for glass length and top frame level later, THEN do a full install with caulking, etc. It's VERY important to make SURE the top frame is dead level, as these doors slide like greased pigs and if you are off level on the top frame they will slide open/downhill on you during your shower! The pieces (extrusions with rollers) that attach to the glass slabs have three holes each so there are three gradations of "height" or leveling adjustment on the doors due to this. Therefore you can adjust the doors slightly for out of plumb door jams if you are forced to do so. First do this, then dry fit the entire unit and check the gap between the glass at the bottom and the plastic guide that goes in the middle of the bottom track, then if you want the minimum gap at the bottom you check your top rail for level and THEN adjust the length of the side rails to minimize the gap and level the top rail. In my install I had to trim about quarter inch off one of the side rails - this is why you want to do a complete dry fit before any caulking, in case you have to pull off a side rail and trim its length to level the unit or adjust for too wide gaps below the glass. Make sure you check gaps at the bottom against the plastic guide, NOT at the bottom rail, as the glass has to clear the guide which is higher than the bottom rail. With this unit properly installed, it is a terrific door and looks great and is substantial. The biggest downside is you have to make sure you don't open the doors too hard and slam them against the frame as they KEEP ROLLING after you push them, they roll so well, so you have to learn to open carefully and sort of help them stop as they approach the frame. I fully endorse this product within its family of products (sliding framed enclosures with frameless glass doors), it is one of the best out there, even though it's low cost.

Would be great if not for one flaw
Good materials, attractive design, simple enough to install. However, the glass doors are about 1/4" too short. Even when they are adjusted as low as possible with the rolling brackets, they leave a sizable gap between the door and bottom rail. The front, inside door (nearest the spigot) allows water to spray directly out onto the floor as a result. I added a clear vinyl glass sweep to the bottom of that door to correct the problem, but an extra 1/4" of glass would have corrected Delta's design flaw. Had I know about this prior to installation, I probably would have trimmed 1/4" off of each side rail as the most attractive fix. If you're willing to trim 1/4" off the side rails, this is still a bargain at the price.

Great concept but needs better engineering
When I saw this product in the HD web page, I thought it was a great way to solve our shower curtain problems. After all, I've put tub doors in before. I really liked being able to select the design elements I wanted. This is where the complements end. To get the small issues out of the way: 1) the divider/separator (goes in the center of the bottom track) should be about 3 mm higher. When the doors are properly level, they ride over the divider and swing out into tub. 2) The wall anchors are way too flimsy. All of them bent out of shape when I tried to put them in; one of them snapped apart and I had to substitute another I happened to have around. For the cost of this unit, I think they could put an extra $0.60 into these critical parts. 3) The rubber guards in the door jams to hold the doors open or closed are a good idea because you cannot properly level the doors (see comment 1), but they should be described in the directions and not treated as an afterthought to be found later. The big issue is the height. This is a fixed parameter but there was no warning of the issues it can cause. I have a fiberglass tub set into an alcove. My biggest mistake was following the directions by cutting the top track to the width of the wall jambs. That was the perfect height to sit on top of the jambs with about 2 inches on both sides to the alcove wall. After paying another $120.00 for the new frame kit, I had to cut the top track to the width of the alcove wall, then cut notches into the track to fit over the fiberglass shoulders and grind to get it close to level. Finally I had to do some creative caulking to fill in the large gaps.

Awesome shower door.
Easy to install, looks great. Really changed the look in the bathroom ( had a shower curtain before). Really like the lower track as it is open and easy to clean. This is the third door we've installed in our house. We really like them and they look great after many months of use.
