Beautiful, easy set up, user friendly, puts out decent heat, and many style and color options aesthetically. Love it!

Looks awesome and quite easy to install. We love the flame options and can use this year round as it is electric and can be ran without heat if desired. This was a great purchase.

Easy to install, haven't used it much since installation so cannot speak to its durability or longevity. I have turned the heater on briefly doesn't make alot of noise or rattle. Being mid summer Florida it's just for looks right now.

Great fireplace. Love all the colors. Good options for customizing. We used all three. Glass shards in glass bag so open over sink and rinse glass pieces. Labeled the remote. Would buy again.

For the purpose of heating the room I would have rather installed this closer to the ground, like in the picture, but we didn't have any empty walls. It's above our couch, recessed, it did cost a lot to install. But of all the improvements and remodeling we have done lately, this is definitely the best improvement to our home. SO many compliments and glad we decided on the 6'.

Love the colors and the heat is nice. We had the fake wood in at first, but put the rocks in instead and i think it looks better with the rocks.

After waiting over 2 weeks for it to come in (probably cause of holidays) finally got is installed and a section of the lights don’t change color like they should. Hope they make it right! Besides that, the install was easy and it looks great! Overall I’m pleased with it!

Received my electric fireplace today. Within 30 mins it was installed and working great! Lots of different colour selections and it gives off some good heat. Looks great!

We bought this to replace an excellent, similar electric fireplace (from a different company), that had worked wonderfully for 12 years. This unit didn't heat anywhere near as efficiently as our old one. Not only does it heat poorly, while I was watching tv one evening, the unit spontaneously EXPLODED, it sounded like a shotgun blast. It threw glass into 3 rooms. Projectile style! See the photo. If I had children, or were injured, an attorney would be involved, they still may be, the company has been HORRIBLE to deal with. This still remains unresolved.

We just had this unit installed a few weeks ago. It worked great. Now the heater fan shuts off after a few minutes and if you turn the flame on it makes a clicking sound. Now what are we supposed to do rip it out and take it back to the store ?

Lives up to other positive reviews. Easy to install. Looks great and wife loves it. Had a question during installation and customer service was wonderful. Does not put out a lot of heat but it should help take the chill off in the winter months.

It is hot outside and we can enjoy the fire without heat.

We bought this hoping it would bring the ambience of a fireplace to our kitchen, without taking up space or requiring effort. The unit has been a wonderful addition! We have it about one month, and we will be putting it on or in the wall, since the heat comes from the front, we can make it low profile, up where it can be seen from anywhere. We will put a sideboard below, so as not to lose precious storage space. Very happy with this unit. Also, delivery was easy, and even earlier than expected.

Really nice unit, lots of color choices. Puts out enough heat with blower on to take chill out of basement home theater. Install is easy for anyone comfortable useing a drill and saw.

We did a lot of searching for the best manufacturer and Dimplex was by far the best. Next up was which model. After measuring many times we selected the Sierra 48” for several reasons; the ability to switch the logs, glass or stones, the depth of the unit, no need to hardwire and the features on the remote. We designed a fireplace surround and used some pecan wood for the mantle. Installation was a breeze. The flames are realistic and it definitely puts out some heat. Couldn’t be more pleased. Looking forward to many nights with my fire and a good book!

Love this faux fireplace. It gives off beautiful colors and heats the livingroom area well. Shipped to Home Depot for pickup. That was easy. Wish we had option for direct home delivery. Highly recommend this wonderful fixture!! We are buying one for our bedroom too

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So starting off It took me and my husband approximately 40 minutes from start to finish to put together. The directions were not very clear. It does have a code where you can scan it, but I couldn't get the code to work. So we figured out how to assemble it and we went with the mounting route. Mounting it on the wall was pretty easy. It does have three what look like vents in the front, but only one of them blow out heat the other two are just for looks which are deceiving.I have a 900 square-foot living room that we've mounted this in and within a few hours It took the chill out of the room. It does come with a remote which is pretty convenient. But I deducted one star because the instructions don't tell you what each of the buttons do, It's not labeled. And the touchscreen on the unit is not labeled nor does it tell you on the instructions what the buttons mean either. So after playing with the functions, I find a color I like but then I push a button and Change that setting because it doesn't tell you what the buttons mean. Another star was deducted because when you take the glass crystals out of the bag there are shards of glass everywhere So you must be careful emptying this. You have to manually change the wood to the glass and there is no storage anywhere for these items, You must keep them in a spot not to get lost or damaged. Overall it's a pretty nice looking unit. I don't think it's worth the amount of money. It looks nice but does the same thing a box ground heater would do just without the fancy lights.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this to replace the little space heater in my bedroom and am so glad I did! It has several different settings for all sorts of combos, from realistic fire to blue and pink flames. Setting it up was pretty easy, but some instructions would have been nice. We were able to figure it out though. The heat output is nice, but it doesn’t warm the room right away. That and the lack of instructions are the reason for the 4 stars. Overall though, it’s a great addition to our home!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great easy to put together heater. It took around 5 minutes tops to put together in the table top mode. Love that you can switch the lighting and flame colors, set up a timer to turn off at, and that once it reaches temperature it turns the heat off and turns back on when it gets cooler. You can easily customize the look with logs, glass, or Stone and can switch it around easily with just removing 2 screws and lifting the glass front off in seconds.

Easy to install and adds a nice change to an old wood burning fireplace. Flames are very attractive. I do have to admit I am a bit disappointed in the claim that it will heat 1000 square feet. I can't support that through the first few weeks of use.

The install was pretty easy, heats the room is what we were looking for and i love that it sits flush against the wall.

Very easy to assemble. The option of also having it hung on the wall as opposed to "in wall" made it very convinient and looks seemles with the appropriate backdrop. I suggest using toggle bolts attaching the brackets to drywall, considering the glass does have some weight to it. The LED fire simulator seems surprisingly real. The heater feature will have some odor when initially turning it on. Nevertheless work great.

Our first electric fireplace. Wanted a DYI wall mount to go under our 75 inch TV. We went with the 72 inch model Mounted 11 inches below the TV. No showrooms nearby, so we ordered from HD for convenience - just in case it didn’t workout. Arrived at the store a week ahead of schedule. Arrived well packed. Set up as table top in about 30 mins. Tested operation AOK. Flames look really good for the price. The logs look fine. The included crystals look great. Haven’t tried the included pebbles yet. Heater fan is relatively quiet. Heat blows from center vent on front and not up into the TV above. Vents are not as visible as they appear in the pictures. Haven’t had any cold weather yet to give the heater a workout, but it tested fine. Included a remote control and a stealthy touch panel that goes dark in a few seconds. It’s lit in all the pictures we saw and were worried how it would look if it stayed on all the time. Looks okay overall when off, but great when on. Wish it had tinted glass to blackout when off. Wall mounting was really easy. It came with 2 wall brackets plus the necessary screws and anchors. One person can install everything, but a second will speed things up. Instructions were minimal but adequate.
