I needed an extension pole for many reasons. This zinc alloy metal material makes it rust proof and not too heavy. It weighs about 3 lbs. The saw can be used on the pole or in your hand since there is a hand grip on the saw handle. There are thumb levers on each section to easily extend the pole. The pole also has a padded grip that is comfortable and makes it easier to handle. You can use this in muliple ways with standard screw on attachments like a brush, paint brush, duster, saw, etc. There is also a 180 degree hinge tip for wide-ranging versatility and applications. I have a saw, duster and hook attachment so far.

I am using this to trim the lower branches off all of the Oak and Douglas Fir trees on my property. Both the Oak and Fir trees have branches that droop almost to the ground and get in the way. Getting on a ladder is not really an option. This saw with its extendable pole solves my problem. The pole has a nice long reach and the saw is really really sharp. The instructions tell you to let the saw do the work with its own weight. That is harder than it sounds. It seems that until you get used to this pole saw you have an urge to apply force to the pole. This could cause the pole to either flex or break. After a while I got the hang of using it correctly and it is a lot less tiring to let the saw do the work. A nice addition is the duster attachement for the pole. I used it to clean the light shaft that goes up to my skylight and its a lot easier than using a ladder.

The telescoping 5-12' extension Docapole with GoSaw attachment is a convenient addition to the Docapole family. I liked the ease of attaching the saw to the Docapole and the fact that the length of the pole could easily be adjusted to meet my needs, and it was definitely better to stand on the ground to reach high limbs rather than attempting to do the job from a ladder or climbing the tree. The serated blade was very sharp and sturdy and readily sliced through limbs. It more than met my expections for an extendable limb saw.

The DocaPole 5 ft. to 12 ft. Extension Pole + GoSaw Attachment, Telescopic Pole Saw, Extendable Limb Saw and Trimmer is a really handy tool to have on our property. I've had this product for a few days and have used it to prune branches along our fence. The 3-sided taper-ground teeth on this saw are very sharp and cut quite easily. I also like that I can use other cleaning attachments with this DocaPole. This product has for sure met my expectations.

This pole saw is great. It's light-weight and so easy to use, and I'm a 72 yoa female. It handles very easily and cuts like it's going through butter. This jewel is ideal for pruning. It easily attaches to the pole and you can push the two thumb lever clasps on each side to unlock so you can extend the pole as much as you need up to 12 feet. The aluminum pole is very sturdy and light-weight. It also has a nail hook for easy hanging. This saw has a very comfortable rubber handle with grip easy-use thumb lever clasps. The blade is rust resistant and razor sharp. No need to get up on a ladder with this long extension pole. So be safe and don't get on that ladder, please. Another great feature is it has a dusting attachment also. This is a great way to reach high places in your home too. You will see how thick this attachment is in my photos. It attaches the same way as the blade with the thumb clasp for extending the pole if needed. So you are actually getting two tools for the price of one. Excellent tool for my new home, which has more than half an acre of old oaks and youngish ornamental trees. I will be able to do a lot without hauling out the ladder. When I do pull out the ladder, I'll be able to cut much higher up than I ever could using only my handheld limb saw, as I have done for years. I was concerned that the handle would not be sturdy enough for working through hardwoods like oak, or much live wood at all. Not the case. This is light enough to manipulate while on the ladder, and to use for extended periods, yet the material (some type of metal) is strong enough to withstand real use. The blade can be replaced if you end up chewing through the teeth or dulling it and don't want to sharpen it. Just two bolts and you'll be able to attach a new one. You can also use the sawblade by hand, so it's pretty versatile. The extensions are adjustable using not one, but two segments. The flexibility of the adjustments allows you to move into the best position to apply effort, and you won't wear yourself out because the pole is a touch too long or a touch too short to be comfortable. The duster that came with the set was surprisingly nice to use. We prefer real wool dusters for their magnetic properties, but didn't have one to reach the light fixtures or really do a good job on high cabinets or shelves. This is perfect! We're adding it to the cleaning closet. The only ding for this is that the handle adjustments are plastic. Since it's mostly going to be used outside, I would have been happier with something a bit sturdier. Time will tell if those will hold up to use in the yard. Now, if only that duster could get inside the light fixture to sweep out the bugs....

Extension Pole + GoSaw Attachment, Telescopic Pole Saw, Extendable Limb Saw and Trimmer included a couple of pleasant surprises. First, a dusting brush was included. The dusting brush which attaches to the end of the DocaPole is useful for dusting high, hard-to-reach places, some of which may rarely have been dusted. The pole may be extended from its base 5 ft. to whatever height is needed up to 12 ft. The second surprise was that the limb saw may also be used as a hand pruning saw. The saw handle is well-designed to fit a person’s hand. The saw itself is now the best hand pruning saw that I have because of its many, large, sharp, cutting teeth. It has a hole at the end of the saw for hanging up. As an example of its excellent design, the sleeve has a punch-out for the nail hole so that the saw may be stored in its sleeve. Also included is a helpful set of tips for using the saw. They are definitely worth reading, using, and keeping for future reference. The pole saw is easy to use and works much better than my previous one. The light weight of the DocaPole helps since you are raising it above your head when cutting branches. I cut two dogwood branches, which is a hard wood, with little effort, primarily because the teeth on the saw work so well. I also cut a larger sweet gum branch that was up higher. Extending and retracting the pole is easy to do. The pole has a long padded area which makes it easy to hold when using the pole saw. The pole saw exceeded my expectations. It is made in China.

This pole saw is amazing on limbs 3" or less. I have cut of several limbs from the ground that are 10-12 feet of the ground. I would have had to get these from a ladder with a chain saw otherwise( not something I really wanted to do. The saw is very sharp and cut thru the limb in 30-40 seconds. I have not tried it on a limb larger than 3" yet. The saw extends to 12 ft plus the blade and compacts to 75" for storage and has a hole in the blade which makes it easy to hang on a nail out of the way. this is a very worth while product as an alternative to a electric or portable pole saw which usually extends to only 9 ft.

Earliest I have ever received products for testing, photo, and review. Removed product from box and I found a bonus in box, a fabric brush to use in cleaning. Everything was present and was easy to assemble. Instructions were easy to read and understand. I installed the saw blade to extension pole for testing. Saw was well made. I used it on 4 different trees in my backyard. Saw was easy to use and it was fast in cutting through the limbs. I started out without extending pole to test how well in cut. I tried saw at 4 different lengths to see how it preformed. Saw cut quicker without extending but the first 3 lengths cut very well. At the fullest extension it was slower as the pole had more flex, so it was harder to put pressure on saw blade. Still got the limb cut but it took a little more effort. I tested saw for approximately 1 hour with great results. I am attaching a photo of the limbs I cut with saw. Many years ago, I inherited a pole saw. This saw was 10ft and had a wooden handle of which broke soon after I started using to trim my trees so I without a pole saw for several years. This was a great addition to the many lawn and garden tools I already have. Overall, all I gave a 5-Star rating on ease of use and durable condition. I will recommend this product.
