Easier to hold
I bought this for myself for my 60th birthday. I had an old Dremel that belonged to my father but sometimes you like to upgrade some of your tools. ( you many screwdrivers do I have? ) I love the new 4300! A lot more power but the thing that I was most excited about was how slim it is. I live with MS and sometimes it is hard to grasp certain tools because of the shape or that is just the way some things are designed. The 4300, is heavier but its shape makes it easier to grasp and easier to control.

The most versatile tool invited for DYI enthusiast
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought my first Dremel a few months ago. Even though I had no experience creating Gemstone jewelry/gifts, such as rough rose quartz, tourmaline, etc. I used the Dremel to cut the gemstones, shape them into beads & hearts, drill .8mm holes and to sand/polish the stones. These are all for personal use and gifts for family and friends. Now my Dremel is follow the same process but with Petrified wood. I a, using it much in the same way. The Dremel is a work horse, easy to use and I feel very safe when using it.

      Great tool!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the dremel 4300! It's so easy to do projects with and it's toolless Chuck makes it much easier to switch out attachments. I used it for carving and sanding in the tight curves on a halloween witches broom handle. Can't wait to see what else I can make with it!

          Awesome Tool!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the wired Dremel to cut the front facia of my Tacoma 4x4 called a Viper Cut. I was nervous when making the initial cut as the Dremel had so much power I didn't want to make an error. This Dremel had enough power to cut through the layers of steel and plastic while allowing me to remain in precise control. Perfect cut, perfect tool for the job. Cant wait to find more projects.

                A must have!!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have the 4300 variable speed Dremel. I do woodworking for a hobby. I use it for so many different things it is hard to list them all. It is a workhorse and the variable speed is great to have for different applications, drilling, sanding, grinding and especially routing. I also have the Dremel mini router table and bits that works great as well. The Dremel drill press attachment is another must for this tough tool. Love it and again, I could not do what I do without these great and innovative products.

                  Outstanding tool
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used this tool for over 2 years and have built 16 windmills 15” x13” x 22” high. With the 4300 series I cut and shaped 95% of the solid oak material using many of the accessories the tool came with.

Dependable power and quality for the price.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought the 4300 to carve all detail on this piece , I also used it to remove a great deal of the bulk waste around the trees to 1 1/2” deep in most areas, with the right bits this machine holds up very well to hours of use. Chuck does come loose occasionally but that seems to happen only when I apply to much pressure. What you see here is approximately 80 hours work. One thing I would have liked to have seen In the kit was several chuck options and a flex shaft included would have been awesome.

                        An Outstanding Tool
I got my new model 4300 rotary tool in July 2020 after having my last one for nearly 40 years. I am a prolific hobbyist and use it almost daily. The accessories and versatility of the tool is unequaled. As with any product there can be problems, but to date, my new 4300 has worked flawlessly!

Fantastic tool, great attachments, fun to use
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have previously used other various rotary tools for hobby work. But when a special project came up (restoring one of my Grandfather's old knives for my brother as a gift) I wanted a tool that had more options, variable speed, and better accessories than the generic tools I had before. The 4300-5/40 was on sale at the time, so I snapped it up, along with a few other accessories, and turned some old bits of laced maple burl, walnut burl, and a small piece of ebony into new grips for the blade, and a decorative knife block. This was not about making really 'functional' grips, but restoring a knife that was the only keepsake my brother had of our grandfather. I used the various bits and tools for the 4300 to shape the grips as well as route out the knife block. It came out beautifully. The variable speed came in handy when working on the ultra soft laced maple burl and the extra hard ebony. My previous rotary tools would not have handled it with any ease at all.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I work these dremels to the bone! I use dremel exclusively for my projects. Sometimes running them hours at a time. I replace the brushes regularly and add a little lube for extended performance! I love my dremel!

The End All of Do All
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My original Dremel Mdl #270 moto-tool was over 40 years old when it finally gave up on me July of last year. It was a simple constant speed collet model and served me well, but my skills and the complexity of my projects have progressed significantly over the years. I decided on a new Dremel model 4300 variable speed tool with the accessory kit. An excellent choice for both beginner and experienced hobbyists and I feel it was more than competitively priced especially for the versatility it offers. I also paired it with a new model 220 Drill Press. I could not be more delighted with ability to turn out unique high quality projects and gifts! The variable speed and keyless chuck lets me drill, grind, sand, cut, and router quickly and flawlessly. I highly recommend this tool or any of Dremel’s fine line of products and accessories and I look forward to many more years of faithful service from this purchase. Please see the attached photos of projects I have completed since buying my new Dremel Tools.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this to replace my last one that burned out. I bought it because of the variable speed control on it and found out I like it so much better. When I'm carving birds I can slow it down to get into more detail work with it. I am also still learning about this tool, it's a lot of fun.

What a great tool! So easy to use with the chuck, which takes all the accessories. I restored this 1920s lock box that was globbed with paint by using vinegar, and the dremel, and a tiny bit of black acrylic paint rubbed into the scratches.

Scary fast!!! Love, Love,$it!!! The extra amperage in the 4300 series. Makes you actually need to slow it down from time to time. Just because it cuts so fast. I sometimes cut off a little more than planned. That's a personal issue and no fault of this amazing tool. So versatile, that when I think there's not a tool for the job. End up with the Dremel 4300 series in hand. Finish the job likity split. So that now, I just make sure my Dremel 4300 and vast assortment of attachments are with me at every job. Gives me complete confidence that the job will be finished on time and at the highest quality level a perfectionist like myself demands. Can't thank you enough at Dremel for producing the finest rotary tool on the market. Absolutely nothing bad to report about this fine power tool. Great job!!!

                                      Very powerful and versatile!
I had an older Dremel model from a couple years ago, and figured it was time to upgrade. This model comes with even more attachments and accessories than my previous. With 5 attachments, and over 40 different holders, sanders, and mounters, they give you an excellent array to get started with. The design of this rotary tool is very sleek, and not too heavy. It's speeds range from 500 rpm, to around 35,000 rpm thanks to its internal feedback circuitry, while also being quiet than some of it's predecessors. At high speeds it retains its smooth feeling, without sacrificing any power. The power cord measures in at around 7 ft, making it decent enough to move around with it, or with an extension cord. Overall, this is definitely an improvement in the models, and a superior rotary kit in general.

THE TOP DOG OF DREMEL ROTARY TOOLS
This DREMEL variable speed rotary tool has a nice sleek body design for a comfortable grip no matter how you hold the tool. The 4300 boasts Dremel's most powerful motor with electronic feedback circuitry, redesigned airflow system and cool running ball bearing construction allow the tool to run quieter and smoother for a consistent performance thru any task you put in front of it. I have had a few Dremel rotary tools including a single speed ( very noisy ) version that I still own. They have always been handy for multiple tasks but between the noise level and having to change collets to match the accessory I am using It becomes a nuisance to use. Dremel has created a three jaw chuck with a EZ Twist nose cap wrench on this 4300 series tool that accepts all accessory shank sizes for quick and easy accessory changes. This rotary tool kit also includes 5 attachments including a pivot light to illuminate the area you are grinding, cutting, etc. a clear shield, garden tool sharpener, cutting guide and a sanding/grinding guide. Also includes a hard case to store tool, attachments and array of included accessories. I really like the shield attachment that protected me from metal and cutting residue while I was cutting the excess end off a bolt I used to fix a cross member on my porch swing. The garden tool sharpener made sharpening a small axe I own very easy. This tool kit includes the regular collet and wrench system for use during certain applications and for those of you who are fond of the original collet system. I am sure this Dremel will last a long time and perform flawlessly.

                                      The Best Dremel Tool yet
This Dremel 4300 variable speed rotary tool offers the highest performance and most versatility of all Dremel rotary tools. The 1.8 amp corded motor plus electronic feedback circuitry enables consistent performance at all speed levels. (5000-35,000 rpm) Dremel 4300 can use all existing Dremel accessories and attachments plus high-performance attachments to complete the widest range of projects. The 360 ergonomic body provides a 360 Degree grip zone for comfort and control in any grip position. • The plastic storage case is marked with icons showing where each accessory should be placed. • Has separate on/off switch and speed control dial. • Includes 5 attachments and 40 assorted accessories and accessory case. • Pivot Light to illuminate your work (Battery Powered) • Universal 3 Jaw chuck with 1/32-1/8 inch capacity. • Easy grip Nose wrench This High End Dremel tool replaced my 25 year old Dremel tool and WOW, what an improvement! It should last me the rest of my life and I can pass it down to my grandson. Made in Mexico.

                                      TYPICAL DREMEL QUALITY
This replaced my tired old model 395 which has served me well for decades. Powerful 1.8 Amp motor is not brushless. Brushes can be easily replaced though. Not sure what I think of the 3 jaw chuck. It is fine for light duty work but I still prefer a collet for most work. The 5 attachments include a really handy light that mounts on nose of tool only it is not powered by the tool but needs batteries. The on-off button is located well but the speed control wheel is near the tail of tool and needs a second hand to adjust. The storage case is solid with plenty of room for more attachments and the accessory case snaps in place inside the storage case. The included attachments fit tightly in their special place so nothing rattles around in transport. All the included accessories are useful for most people. I like the drywall cutter with the cutting guide base for trimming out electric boxes & door/window frames. Much lighter than my old zip tool.

Needed a new drill as a B&D, I owned finally quit. Good drill and like the variable speeds as some bits don’t last long with a fast rotation. Corded, but I think it’s better than cordless as I don’t have to wait for a recharge. Accessories are a plus, but too many for my needs as I drill, sand and polish old toys for restoration. Longevity will be what I need, so time will tell.
