In the middle of a job, found extra studs in a wall that required partial removal of section of studs without disturbing the adjacent drywall. Used this tool blade for about 2 hours, and worked out perfect. Still looks like new after all of the cutting.

This is the 2nd time I've bought this and the blades simply don't last. Even thin wood (underlayment, casing, base , etc.) is still hard to cut after a few uses. I think the teeth are too small!

Blades with an edge that stays sharp
I have various brands of oscillating power tools, so finding one blade that will fit all my brands is a challenge in itself, then to find a blade that can keep up with the task. The Dremel Multi-Max universal 3 blade pack was the best fit across my tool brands. I did have a problem with the blade seating fully with my Porter Cable quick change oscillator, however, it still worked fine. I had a 2 X 6 I had to notch out for a fixture that was too tight for any of the other saws I commonly use. The Dremel wood flush Multi-Max was the perfect blade for the job. It cut good straight cuts into the plunge of the lumber with little effort. This thicker lumber is where other blades smoke but the Dremel kept up with cut after cut. The only downfall is I believe that the design of the universal fit makes the tool securing point of the blade weaker. One of the spans cracked with moderate use. I don't believe it had anything to do with the 2 X 6 I was cutting - that was a one-time job, the blade broke while I was cutting pocket holes in 1/2" sheetrock. Up to the point the Dremel blade kept a good cutting edge. I am still overall pleased with the Dremel Multi-Max blades.

High Quality Wood Multi-Tool Blade
Dremel Multi-Max Universal Wood Flush Cut Oscillating Tool Blades (3-Pack) is a top quality blade. I have a Porter+Cable multi-tool and its nice to find Dremel is now offering blades that fit it. They fit a variety of mulit-tool products: DeWalt Porter+Cable FEIN Rockwell Makita Ridgid Milwaukee Bosch Dremel I've used Dremel blades in the past and have always had to use the alternate attachment option on my multi-tool which isn't ideal. Being able to now use the regular attachment mechanism means the blades are easier to mount and won't slip during use. Dremel with the old style tool attachment have always been in my toolbox. They are excellent in cutting through wood quickly and hold up assuming you don't hit a nail. I use them for mortising doors and installing door locks. I've also used them to undercut door trim when installing laminate flooring as well as other projects. They cut cleanly don't tear out the wood, last long and are the same quality as the OEM that came with my multi-tool. The added benefit is they are more reasonably priced, too.

This wore out in about 5 minutes. Don't use it on ANYTHING other than soft wood. Especially fiberglass.
