The heater defiantly needs a blower in it. Without the blower it takes a very long time to heat my 485 square foot garage. It works great, I am using a 20lb propane tank to fuel it. I recommend a longer gas line so you can put the heater where you want it. There instructions were lacking as far as hooking up the gas. You will need a 3/8" Flare to 3/8"NPT. and I ordered a 12' hose with regulator, and a 3/8" flare fitting. It works great once I got that figured out. Highly recommend getting the blower for your new heater. Will make it a great deal better.

This heater was perfect for my wood shop. It heats up my 12' x 18' very nicely. I also bought the optional fan. Just note that if you do use the fan and intend to mount the heater on the wall, you will need to offset it from wall slightly, otherwise the fan will not be able to pull in air.
