I bought this grill 4 years ago works great,but it is horrible trying to fine the ash pan.You should be able to fine parts for merchandise.for that reason.Iwont recamend it

The ash tray needs quarry tile to protect the metal from burning through if lump charcoal is used. Aftermarket cast iron grates are a good upgrade also.

I love my Dyna-Glo grill! I smoked some beef in it the other day it worked GREAT!!! I can't wait for spring so I can do more grilling and smoking!!!!

Isn't as heavy duty as other brands. In fact, the top right corner weld on the body was so poor, it cracked under the weight of the lid when wide open but was a easy fix with an 1” L bracket and a couple nuts and bolts. Besides that everything else works fine.

Perfect size - easy assemble. Even faster if I didn't have to do things at the same time :) But definitely good product for price and the amount of outside cooking we do - which hasn't been a great deal of it so far. We will !! :)

Hi From Eastern Az. This is the grill I chose for charcoal use; the size is just right for our family of two. The basket for charcoal is one of the decision factors for this grill, no tray to rust & corrode, hooded chimney verse vents is a plus. Side shelves on both sides is a added feature. The only thing on the unit that is a little questionable??? is the draft vents on the side being on the inside of the box? Will see as time goes by , they would be better on the outside of the fire box. I can't say any more as this is AZ's fire season and we have elected to wait for the Monsoons to start before we season the grill and start operation. Good luck and I hope this is of some help on your shopping decision? The cost for on line order from "Home Depot" was better than other on line shopping sites. Enjoy

After having great success with a Master Forge grill, that appeared identical to the Dyna Glo model, I purchased this one. (I guess Master Forge no longer makes this model, or I couldn't find it) Assembly seemed identical, but I noticed the grills were much lighter in weight, so I simply used the "seasoned" grates and put the new ones aside. Expecting to grill, I decided to use the new(but one year old) grates, and ran them through the dishwasher. This morning I took them out and was shocked to see the black painted grate surface was peeling.That would look great on food I was about to serve. The older Master Forge grates were ceramic coated, and when cleaned appear almost new(they're about 7 years old)Why paint (enamel as described)grates that have to withstand high heat ? You'll have to ask Dyna-Glo.

Just what I thought it would be much heaver than most the gas grills I have looked at. You should carry this line in stores. Lowes used to but not any more there help said it was a mistake to drop line.Could be a plus for you. Thank you Floyd Anthony a former Home Depot employee

I have owned many charcoal grills and even a couple propane grills. This grill has been by far the best. The space inside is perfect for a small and large cookout. Cooking is easy with the adjustable charcoal shelf and safe with the front door hatch. I forsee many uses in the near and far future.

i had to order this unit 2 times because it came defected

flimsy parts a lot of small nuts, bolts and cotter pins in assembly - I expect them to rust out quickly some bolts didn't line up with holes - had to twist and pry to assemble one bolt wouldn't tighten down in smoke stack - stripped out threads made into lid handle was broken in box (customer service did replace) I liked the idea of a crank to raise and lower charcoal, but now I wish I would have bought a weber - bought a weber gas grill at the same time quality is so much better - I'm now a weber fan

I bought this grill for my husband and its wonderful. It arrived quick and was packed really well. The direction to assemble were easy ,parts sorted well. We seasoned as per instruction and grilling has been great. We don't fight over who empties ashes any more because its so simple with this grill.

had a defective damper handle in box, instructions and assemble were fairly easy but had to wrestle it like a pig to get bolt holes to line up in several places - there are several small parts used in assemble (cotter keys and bolts and nuts) I anticipate these rusting and failing after being exposed to high heat - overall quality just seems cheap - haven't used it yet but I expect to be buying a replacement after a years use

This grill is great for both smoking and grilling but it's one flaw is that the catch pan for the charcoal ashes is too small... If you fill the grill with charcoal it will easily over flow the catch pan....

This is a nice grill great control and charcoal used many times works good every time.

This grill is well made and was easy to assemble. It cooks great and I especially like the drawer you use to get rid of the ashes also that you can lower the charcoal while you are grilling.

Easy to assemble and met my grilling needs. Would like a deeper grate for the burned ashes.

Grill is very cheaply made, thin, hard to assemble. Sides bent, top does not fit. Gave it away without ever using it.
