The Dyna-Glo 30,000 BTU natural gas wall heater is a good solution to a cold room. I replaced a very old wall furnace with this the Dyna-Glo. The old heater has a similar BTU rating. It was old and worn, it had also been painted by a previous owner in the past and looked terrible. The Dyna-Glo looks much better and modern. It also heats the room better. I wished I had the boost fan accessory to enhance the movement of heated air, I'll likely add that later why my budget allows. Even without the fan it warms the room quickly and when standing in line of the heater I can feel the infrared heat. The installation went smoothly and was simple, due in part to it being a replacement instead of a new install. I simply shut the gas off at the old appliance, installed a new gas flex line and attached the end to the Dyna-Glo. I had one issue with the unit. The ignitor was missing the spring inside the button. This prevented the battery from making the connection, so it would not light. I called the customer service number and after a rather long wait on hold, about 15 minutes, I was able to get a replacement ignitor sent to me. It arrived in a couple days, faster that the lady told me it would. I installed the new button and it works like a charm. I am very pleased with the unit and recommend it to those in need of an inexpensive heating solution.

Really felt I needed a thermostatic control, so I ordered this model heater. When I hooked it up, I realized it needed to be in a much bigger room then the one I had. With thermostatic control all zone come on at once, all 30,000 BTUs. My application required a low heat setting, I ended up hooking up a manual version of the same heater, where I could set it to only one zone, that I leave on all the time, so it is low even heat! I love the heater, even in a small room.

This product was an easy purchase with exception of having to order instead of having it in-store. It arrived quickly and the install was very simple and fast. We have been running it for several days now, and so far, been very satisfied.

This is a nice addition to a hunting cabin or anything you do not want to spend a lot of money to set up the heating. It is simple to install although it would be recommended to hire a qualified service person to do the job. It has a thermostat which is very convenient to maintain the proper temperature without being there to monitor the thing. It delivers immediate heat. I would recommend this product.

The only grip I have on this heater is the so called thermostat isn't a thermostat. It is only a heat level control valve, it does not regulate the temperature. In other words, it will not cycle on/off on its own. You will have to manually regulate the temperature level. Other than that, this is a great heater. If it wasn't for the misleading detail, I'd of given it a five star rating.

I just changed out my blue flame dyna glo 30k because it was hissing and spitting. I use NG. It is 5 years old. I just installed the 30k Infrared and it doesn't have the glass cover like the blue flame had. Why is this? It looks like a hazard. You know what if....

When gas blue flame kicks on it comes on hard and the blue flame sprays our to sides of heater … the sound of gas flame is kinda loud and when thermostat kicks infrared off there is a noise /popping sound of the metal cooling down, is this all normal function for this heater??

The heater heats great, it has a built in thermostat, heats a 1000sq ft. I dont like the fact that its loud when it adjusts temperature and it smells like gas evey time it relights itself.

This heater is amazing at heating my 2 car non-insulated garage. Gets the garage super warm for my home gym all throughout winter. Did not even need to insulate my garage door. Neighbor helped run the gas line and he recommended the fan attachment,which i had to buy at another store, but works fantastic. Before heating the garage was 20 degrees and after turning on and using the fan my garage is 70 degrees.

Yes easy install with proper longer pipes & connectors to reach lines

Have not needed to use heater yet but it is in place, tested, and worked great for the trial run. It heats so efficiently and I believe it is just what I needed to safely heat the outside 10 x 20 room I have outside.
