Replaced an earlier Echo model that I had purchased used. Starts right up and cuts well. Wish I had purchased one with slightly more power. Good saw for limbing and bucking.

Surpassed all my expectations. Cuts through wood like a hot knife through butter.

Bought this chainsaw and it does the job! 16” tree came down No problems! Highly recommend this to the above average homeowner! 5 stars for me

Chain would not hold tension. On 2nd day of use clutch would not engage

If you are looking for a fast starting (first time, most times) chainsaw that is easy to use and powerful enough to cut through shrubs, trees, firewood, etc. around the home or garden, this is the chainsaw for you. I was needing to move away from my Stihl chainsaw that never started properly, and wasn't powerful enough. Echo makes fantastic products. I bought an Echo weed eater years ago and it starts up first time every time even after sitting all winter. HIGHLY recommend!

Extremely hard to start. I spent hours trying to start this thing and couldn’t. I’ve only owned it for a year and used it maybe 5 times. Each time I used the chainsaw, it got harder and harder to start until I couldn’t take it anymore and threw it in the trash. The choke feels spongie. It doesn’t snap in and out. It’s mostly made of plastic. Just a big pile of garbage.

BOUGHT IT IN FEB OF 2023, HAD IT A LITTLE OVER A MONTH AND IT STARTED SPUTTERING AFTER THE 3rd USE... HOME DEPOT WOULDN'T TAKE IT BACK DUE TO IN BEING A GAS PRODUCT.. HAVE JUST NOW USED IT FOT THE 4th TIME AND IT'S FROZEN, WON'T ENGAGE AT ALL............. I WILL NEVER OWN ANOTHER ECHO PRODUCT EVER ! MY STIHL CHAINSAW STILL RUNNING LIKE NEW AFTER 15 YEARS OF USE

I tortured myself for years with a different brand chainsaw that was garbage right out of the box. I would get blisters on my fingers from trying to start it. This Echo saw starts and runs flawlessly every time I go to use it. It's a perfect size for cutting up fallen trees and limbs around my property. I cut up 2 fallen Oaks easily when I first bought the saw.

I purchased this saw to cut up a very tall 18” diameter rock maple tree and it did very well. Then I put it in a chainsaw mill to mill some smaller 13” pieces to 8/4 thickness around 4 foot length. Took forever with the safety chain (my fault) but it did work which surprised me with the little 40.2cc engine - the minimum recommended size for milling is around 60-70cc. A couple of suggestions if you are mechanically inclined: - 91VXL blade (caution it’s got kickback) - tuning

Any gas powered Eco meets my expectations they’re all good

Used this chainsaw one time, it died a couple times while using but no big deal. It sat for a couple months, so I started it up to keep the fuel from gumming up the carb. Locked the saw and let it sit for about 10 minutes. The saw caught on fire and wouldn’t start anymore. Some how echo said this was my fault and wouldn’t honor their warranty. NEVER BUY ECHO!

Cut one small branch put it away went to use it again and most of my bar oil leaked out of the oiler (not from the fill cap)

Had for 2 years runs fantastic with proper break in won't disappoint thanks echo

Excellent chainsaw!!! 2nd to none!

Seems decent so far. Ran 2 tanks of gas through. I mix all my premix at 32:1 and it ran just fine. I didn’t beat on it too bad the first tank, but the second it was run hard with no issues. Powers comparable to any other 18” saw. Good all around saw. Time will tell whether it’s quality or not.

On Saturday I actually owned two of these. The first one never started, so after 30 minutes of trying I took it back. Home Depot swapped it out; no questions asked. Took the replacement home and it started relatively easily. Got a large tree cut down and cut up & the machine ran great. After we were done at my house jumped in the truck to go to my granddad's home to cut up large tree that had fallen. The replacement machine never would start. After about thirty minutes I took it back.

Great saw for the money. Cut through piles of my storm damaged trees like 'buttah

The tensioner broke on the first use. Disappointed in the build quality of the product.
