[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Lightweight and affordable This product has a lot of power to power through the toughest weeds and grass. Being lightweight it’s the best product for those long days outs in the field.

Power and balance feel good. Time will tell if build quality is as good as my 30 year old echo srm 2400 that’s still running. Initially purchased a Dewalt battery trimmer. It was pritty good, but not balanced well or enough power for my large property.

Due to a pretty severe drought here in Kentucky, I only used this thing 4 times since buying it April 20th. Recently, I stood in the yard, explicitly following the "cold-start" instructions, and tried for 15 mins to get the thing to start. Nothing. I got exhausted and waited until the next day to try it again... but no luck. So now I have to file a warranty claim and get a nearly $400 trimmer serviced after only 3 months of ownership. Wish I had bought an electric trimmer instead.

First time with this specific Brand and model. I find it easy to use and well balanced. I purchased the X series mod.2620. I think that the drive shaft assembly is to long , and for the price, the least should include the harness ring.

Stronger than my last echo. I've never had any problems with Echo and Home Depot sells lots of the parts if I need a tune-up.love echo and home depot

More than enough power for any casual weekend warrior battling fence line, curbside and anything else you are going to trim around or edge up. You can also zap the webbing growing on the fence you and your neighbor don’t want to do as well. Get yourself some strong string as well and this weed eater will deliver in spades!

By far the best trimmer for 99% of people out there. Has all the power and reliability anyone could ask for. I could not be happier with this purchase. Thank you, Echo.

This string trimmer has great power and easily cuts through taller and thick grass.

I ordered the X Series Straight Shaft Edger and X Series String Trimmer. I have no idea how they perform or what their quality is because the edger arrived damaged and was missing items in the box, and the string trimmer’s box was really beat up and had been taped up. Returned both.

Always runs really good. Not a fan of the way the head loads.

Tried the cordless trimmer route but with multiple battery changes to complete the job each time I decided it was time to go back to gas power. This machine is more powerful than eveny previous Echo trimmers and hopefully will be just as reliable.

Works pretty good and it’s lightweight, I really like it.

Excellent trimmer, would recommend it to anyone.
