I purchased this about a month ago and finally used it last week. It worked as advertised. Although it took a little effort to cut through 1 inch branches, it did do the job. It was a breeze cutting through ¾ inch and under. (I’ll use lopper on the larger stuff next time and save wear and tear on the cutter). After using this attachment I’m wondering if I should have purchased the PAS Articulating Hedge Trimmer Attachment instead. My only concern would be the weight difference. I’m 65 and after about an hour my arms grew tired. So yes I would recommend this attachment.

This attachment cut (no pun intended) my shrub trimming time in half from using my electric trimmer. It's a little heavy when doing tall shrubs, but I just used a ladder like before.

I am a lawn care business owner. Using the hedge trimmer attachment help me get the shrubs trimmed and move on to the next property!

Had to purchase all new attachments and weed eater after repeatedly repairing my Husqvarna machine was skeptical at first after only using Husqvarna equipment for the last five years but must admit I was pleasantly impressed with Echo equipment and all its attachments only hope Echo will provide the same quality results I’ve become accustomed too.

The ECHO X Series is a wonderful concept brought to reality and the 25.4 cc gas power head is the heart of it. So far, we’re loving it! Just wish it we’re a tad lighter weight without sacrificing power or performance.

Strong and heavy duty, and heavy once added to the power head. I have to hold the trimmer over my head and it gets tiring. That said, it's a great tool!

We have a lot of landscaping and it really helps with those talkers shrubs and trees

Having to add this extension for my hedge made full use of my Pas 225 system. It worked perfectly and made my normally all day event trimming into a few hours.

The attachment was well made in traditional ECHO fashion and fit correctly into the PAS powerhead. I returned the item because for me, the combined length and weight of the powerhead and the attachment was challenging. I have hedges that are close to shoulder height and found the total package to be heavy and difficult to use for any length of time. Additionally, removing the PAS handle, as suggested in the safety manual, was an inconvenience not necessary with other attachments and only added to my list of issues. While I cannot recommend the Hedge Trimmer, this has not changed my opinion of my other ECHO PAS accessories which I continue to use and enjoy weekly.

I have battery and gas hedge trimmers, and pole attachments for both. This exceeded expectations, and chewed through the larger branches on a massive hedge I regularly maintain. Due to weather it had gotten overgrown. It was too much for the battery trimmers, but this did the job. Relatively lightweight for the work it does. Like all my other Echo equipment, it's top notch.

The hedge trimmer is really a good tool for cutting the hedges and it was a good deal and price, it did the job and worked as advertised

I purchase this attachment to work with my Echo power head and man it works like a dream. Awesome job it does on timing shrubs.
