This gun is really great for heavy knockdown on ceilings and walls. I use it for wall an ceiling repairs... recently repaired 9 different spots on a home... worked really nice... easy to clean... great new tool for my truck.

Patchwork Ok, Whole walls not ok.
Bought this to texture a small bathroom (3 small walls) and purchased 3 bags along with it. I barely got done with two walls and ended up spending a LOT more than if I had just gone with the typical can texture. Unfortunately I can't say I would recommend this for anything more than a repair. If you are doing anything heavier than an orange peel you will go through bags like water.

Terrible for ceilings. I wouldnt waste my money again. Just going to stick with spray can texture or hopper gun.

Good for small areas
Like this for texturing after a drywall patch. Easy to use if you follow the instructions. First time out I didn't read ... Learned the hard way. Using the instructions, it works well. Saves a lot of cleanup.

I used it on a patch job and it’s not...
I used it on a patch job and it’s not easy to squeeze a bag and spray on a ladder 16ft up. I was not able to keep the texture very consistent but it was not as noticeable from the floor so it worked ok in my case.

For the price is fair but the texture bags are rip off and really don’t spray enough texture you need 3-4 bags on a single location

Nicer than a can of texture.
And nicer than cleaning the hopper. Not for texturing a whole house or even a whole room, but great for patch work associated with remodel contracting. The cans never work for me and I despise cleaning the hopper and mixing mud, so this is great. Wish I could custom make a larger, more budget friendly and reusable mud bag. I use this on all of our small drywall projects. It is a little on the thick side and you get a "hard" texture vs a smooth soft texture, which makes it hard to match existing textures sometimes. Great for knockdown though.

Great addition to my toolbox
Great little texture tool. I have not tried to spray a whole room with it but for small to medium projects its a must. Very easy to use and easy to setup and clean. Cheaper than the cans you can get and so much easier than a hopper.

ez pro texture works much better than the cans
Im sad to see home depot no longer carrying it so now i order it theough sherwinn williams. For patch work this is the best product by far. The can texture spray are so expensive and look like junk in comparison. I found that having a higher psi on the compressor makes it look mich better and i knead the bag real well before use
