I purchased the Eagle Amber Acid Stain to re-stain my stamped concrete. It hadn’t been stained in ten years. When I first applied the stain on my concrete it looked like an ugly yellow. But I kept spraying and eventually got the color I wanted. I sprayed it on, then brushed it in, to get the marble effect. I ended up using the entire 1 gallon jug for my backyard. Instructions say to leave on on for 6 hours, but I ended up leaving it on over night. To neutralize the acid I used 2 cups of ammonia per 5 gallon bucket of water. Rinse and repeat. I used Eagle Sealer EGCC5 Clear Gloss Coat to seal it. It has only been a few days, so we will see how it goes. So far so good!

My yard has a concrete retaining wall that was unsightly and stained by mud. Also, when the afternoon and evening sun directly hit the wall, it was almost blinding. After using Eagle Amber Concrete Acid Stain, the wall blends in nicely with the house and rock surroundings. The product has a natural look and was easy to apply and clean up.

this was very easy to use on my pool deck. However, we did not like the color all that much. Well, I did, but the wife didnt so it had to be changed. It is easy to apply with a sprayer. I mixed it 1:1 with water to dilute it to keep the color lighter. If you want darker color and want it to go farther, skip the step where you wet the concrete first. It really sizzles if you do that. But it is not as even. This photo was shows product applied to wetted concrete.
Keep in mind that it looks terrible before you clean it. A lot of the color comes off when it is cleaned and neutralized, so it doesnt look near as wild.

This acid stain was very easy to use if you follow the directions and do a good job cleaning the concrete first. I had an 18 year old driveway that was in very poor condition and this did a great job bringing it back to life! I mixed the stain half and half with water to lighten and extend the product and it is almost exactly like the color chart sample. I followed up with 2 coats of the Eagle Supreme Seal and it really brought it to life!

This product delivered all that it promised. The color after application is rich and vibrant. After I neutralized the acid, much of the color remained. The directions were easy to follow as were the steps outlined. A very good product in my opinion.
