Cheap shovel. You get what you pay for.
Broke this shovel using it for light garden work within two months of purchase. Pay a little more and get a product that will last.

The very first time I tried to dig a rock out of the soil the handle of the shovel snapped in hal...
The very first time I tried to dig a rock out of the soil the handle of the shovel snapped in half. Right where the steel stopped at the top of the shovel is where the handle snapped. Very disappointed I guess you get what you paid for cheap.

We bought this recently and first got to use it...
We bought this recently and first got to use it this weekend. My wife used it to try and dig out a tree no more than 6" tall and the handle broke in two. Not much of a shovel.

Product was good for the purpose needed. Shovel was sharp and the handle was sturdy although I wouldn't try to pry anything like roots up with it. It is thinner than a more expensive shovels handle. For under $8 this was perfect for what I needed.
