Good quality and easy to use
I got this to use for a retaining wall on the back side of my pool area where my yard is on a slope. The retaining wall didn't need to be very tall but we needed something to be sure it was stabilized. So far this seems to be doing the job and was really easy to use as the underlayment for the wall. It was easy to cut as well to adjust to the size we actually needed. I am very happy we went with this and would recommend it to others looking to build a retaining wall.

Worth its weight in gold!
I will say right away that I didn't use this for its intended use. I used it for mud management in heavy traffic areas of my horse pastures. We live in the pacific northwest where horses and our amount of rain equates to frustrating amounts of mud. Someone had recommended a similar product, but it was crazy expensive! I decided to give this a try instead. After scraping the mud away to hardpan soil I laid the GeoGrid down in areas our horses make the most mud and dumped 5\8s minus gravel on top - about 10 inches deep. Its been installed for about two weeks and I haven't seen any gravel drifting. Which is nothing short of a miracle! I highly recommend.

Great underlayment product
We have been cutting firewood from blow downs from recent wind storms. We dozed a path back to the trees but encountered a very soft spot in the road. We dumped a load of gravel over the spot but this was an act of futility as we ended up with a truck stuck axle deep in mud. I had seen the Geo Grid stabilization underlayment and got it to try. It is a gridded polypropylene material that lays down like a mat. We cut the 60 ft. roll in half and covered the soft area with a bit of an overlap in the middle. We then dumped another load of gravel over the mat and leveled out the surface. So far it has held up to four truck loads of firewood to be hauled over it with no problem. I was really surprised how well this works and would recommend it to anyone needing to cross ground that is otherwise too soft to hold up the weight of equipment or vehicles.

Polypropylene Stabilization Underlay
TriAx GeoGrid Black Polypropylene Stabilization Underlayment is perfect for ground stabilization on areas of high traffic usage. I use mine on a parking area for a car and a truck, leading from a shed with ride-on lawnmower as well. Put upon a stone base, with soil on top, , then this 'soil rebar', with more soil and grass seed on top & in the 'gaps' leave for a solid, non-muddy area, that is both durable, and presentable, easy to mow and plow.
