Love these cabinets. They are made of solid wood, good quality and easy to install. Too bad they are not available right now. We have another project in mind.

Very well built cabinet
This cabinet is very well built. Easy to stain. Easy to install. I am very satisfied with this cabinet. I also bought the double door cabinet to go along with this one. (see photo...this one is on the left and the double door one is on the right.)

The Cabinets were great... the time it took to get them....Not so much...Hence the 4 star rating....
The Cabinets were great... the time it took to get them....Not so much...Hence the 4 star rating.... I ordered the cabinets on June 5th..... I did not get them until July 31st.
Don't know whether to blame the manufacturer or Home Depot...
Seems to me to be a bit too long to wait for delivery... Nearly two full months... regardless of the current circumstances
But the cabinets are really nice and sturdy... the outside of the side walls are laminated over MDF... presented a bit of a problem as I couldn't stain them, I didn't want to glue on 1/8" Lauan that I could stain, so I just painted the whole cabinet a dark brown and they turned out very nice..
Used them as extra storage in my travel Trailer... filled a dead space between the slide out and the bathroom... added a lot of extra storage..

Very good DIY cabinet
We selected these cabinets to build our basement wet bar. They exceeded our expectations. Thank you for offering a full-overlay unfinished cabinet! Other unfinished cabinets we found were not full overlay, which just ends up looking dated and cheap from the start in our opinion.
The only weird thing about them we found was at the very end when putting the shelves into the cabinets. The holes for the shelf supports were not drilled evenly on 2 of the 4 cabinets we purchased with shelves. We had to use felt pads on the support to get the shelf to sit level. This was a fine fix, and no one will notice it.
We painted the cabinets black, and they primed and painted well. The sides are not paintable, as other reviewers mentioned, but that is why they offer end panels for trim finishing. Overall, we were able to customize these exactly how we wanted, and they were a great DIY option.

My cabinets were delivered April 9, 2020. I had them installed approximately two weeks ago and spent the past week priming and painting them. It was a lot of work, but worth it to be able to save some money AND to be able to paint them the color I wanted.
They are solid! The drawers are much heavier than anyone imagined. Even the contractor I hired to installed them was impressed with the quality of the cabinets. I ordered a total of 7 cabinets; three of them were the 18x90x24 and this one has 30" cabinet w/drawer below it.
They are absolutely beautiful. I ordered handles to match the ones in my kitchen. I drilled the holes and installed them after I finished priming and painting the cabinets.
The paint is Behr - Urethane Alkyd Satin - Color: Snowy Pine.

I purchased trim and crown molding so the contractor could install it when he put the cabinets in and give me the floor to ceiling look that I wanted.

Cabinet was overall good quality for the amount paid. I could not buy the raw material and build the same product for the price. Doors are paintable/stainable, but the rest of the cabinet is particle board. Top and bottom have a smooth finish that is paintable but if using stain, it would not contain the detailed woodgrain such as the doors. Sides are raw particle board and would not be appealing if using as a standalone cabinet on an open wall. Inside is typical wood grain vinyl overlay on the back and sides. Two adjustable shelves are provided and pre-drilled holes allow for several height adjustments (also vinyl overlay particle board). Door hinges are installed and shelf hardware is included. I installed over the toilet in a Jack-N-Jill bathroom and the opening was almost the exact same as the cabinet. Only a thin piece of quarter round needed to cover the gap.

The doors turned out great the sides revealed lots of defects that do not sand off .now I have to paint the sides which is disappointing. Overall cabinets are built well but do not buy if you are staining them on sides and top and bott6

These cabinets have solid, 5/8" thick backs, not like some others with just a thin backing with reinforcing wood at the top and bottom. Were square and hung easily on the wall. I used these in the garage along with (single door) 24" wide cabinets as shown in the attached photo.

shipping is absurd
Told me to expect it January 29th, came home on January 25th to it sitting in my driveway getting rained on because these people slapped a 10 lb 12x12x30 cabinet on a pallet so it couldnt go on the large, covered porch and delivered it 4 days early. It still lists “on the way.” If its warped when it dries, I’ll be done spending thousands at the home depot each year. Dumbest thing Ive seen this year, but I guess it is January. This review was difficult to write without using profanity.

Cabinets are made well and the door fronts are very nice. My only issue is that they all were not square making installation a little time consuming. Other than that they arrived in great shape and undamaged. I would recommend them and would buy them again. Can’t beat the price for the quality.

Cabinets do not stain well
I sanded the cabinets with 220 grit paper, applied a pre-stain conditioner followed by a good quality stain. They are very inconsistent in taking stain. The frame on one cabinet turned out great. The doors and second cabinet look terrible to the point I just hung them in the garage instead of the house.

The fit and finish were solid, and it was ready...
The fit and finish were solid, and it was ready to install immediately. What should have been clearer is that this cabinet needs pull hardware out of the box. It’s very hard to open the doors “as is”.
