This is a nice detail to install into your place to give it a nice sleek appearance. Its a two piece design where the base plate screws to your switch like normal and then the face plate just clips onto that hiding all of the screws. Its not very heavy duty but it's not usually something that would take very much abuse either. Overall it is a nice product.

I recently got the Eaton Silver Granite Duplex Receptacle for my kitchen and initally paired it with an existing brushed nickel wallplate. Though it looked fine, I decided to switch out the old wallplate for this matching screwless wallplate offered by Eaton. The install went super smoothly, and I love the clean "screwless" look of this i-gang outlet frame. Very sleek!

Hiding screws is simple with this plate. Silver in color I used this over a Black receptacle for contrast. the screw-less system works well but I always have concern that it will fatigue eventually. Who removes their wall plates often? Even so, the quality of the plastic clasp is adequate. The weight is more than expected for a nylon wall plate, but it fits well.

snapped right onto my existing light switch...... This is a better quality platethan the ones that came with the toggle switches i got at costco and has a better weight and build to it......there really isnt that much to say other than it went on easily and looks fantastic. i recently painted my bathroom gray and this switch plate cover better matches my decor

SUMMARY: SLEEK APPEARANCE THAT MATCHES OUR STAINLESS BACK-SPLASH WELL. BACKGROUND: We have a textured stainless back-splash in our kitchen. We wanted outlets that matched the brushed finish. We decided to try the Eaton Silver Granite Screwless Wallplate because the finish looked like it would be easier to clean that a screw-on type. FIT AND FINISH: The wall plate is a smooth Decora style that matches the duplex receptacle perfectly. Although not an exact match for the stainless steel it is much closer than the almond fixture currently installed. INSTALLATION: The wall plate is easy to install. The inner plate is screwed on to the receptacle like a regular wall plate. Then the outer cover snaps into place. SUMMARY: A nice appearance upgrade to our kitchen counter. PROS: Looks good. Easy to install. Close match to stainless-steel.

This is a bit unusual as an outlet cover in gray, which tend to typically be, at least for us, utility basement outlets. This one is lighter than a standard gray and has a slight silvery sheen to it. The outlet cover has a two part construction where the screwless exterior plate snaps over the interior one that screws top and bottom to the outlet. This would look very nice in a kitchen, bathroom or a laundry room with complementing tile.

This is a really cute wallplate. It's more of a matte type silver than shiny. I also got the receptacle to go with it. Both together make a nice addition to any room. We used it in the dining area to replace that ugly cream color that most houses come with as default. This item was easy to install with the receptacle. It would also look nice with a white or black receptacle.

I really like the screwless wallplates and I am slowly replacing all of the old standard wallplates in my home to these made by Eaton. These Eaton wallplates are a little bit pricier than some other brands out there but the quality of the plates are much better. I have the silver granite and they coordinate with my stainless steel appliances. I can recommend these plates to add some style to your home.

The Eaton Designer 1-Gang Screwless Wallplate, Silver Granite is well made but pricier than standard plates. However, I like the clean look without screws (also a tad bit easier to clean – no grunge trapped in the screws) and think they’re worth the extra cost. The base plate is as simple to install as any other wall plate and the cover plate fit easily on top of the base. It’s clearly marked on the plates as to which way they are mounted (top vs. bottom). I mounted mine over an existing switch in the laundry room, but agree that you might want to consider purchasing switches or outlets that match the plate.
