Please just go to our main site then find the "Support". Once you get in there, you will see 3 options: SCHEDULE A CALL, CREATE A SUPPORT TICKET or via LIVE CHAT. If you are to send an email, please include there your proof of purchase, serial number and a photo of your setup so our tech would have a visual of your installation for proper assessment.

The recommended elevation indeed is 2000 ft. elevation, but the water heater has been tested to work at 5,000 ft. elevation, but there is 10% less heating efficiency every 1,000 feet beyond the recommended elevation. Oxidation and water temperature are factors of its less heating efficiency. The L5 is an outdoor portable tankless water heater, and although it is for outdoor use only, be sure to bring the water heater inside when it is not in use to avoid freeze damage and/or other outside elements (insects, small animals, rainwater, etc) that could get inside the burner which may cause a disturbance in its performance. It is possible also to solve the problem is descaling the water heater, checking the inlet water for the filter screen, and changing gas regulators.
