I had switched my household lights to LEDs but was less than satisfied with their performance in my bathroom. I choose to go with Halogen lights as their replacements as I could get the equivalent light for less wattage when compared to incandescent. At only 72 watts, the Halogen lightbulbs did was I hoped. They gave brighter light which was more concentrated and they also lit the entire room up much better than LEDs. I'm including photos of the bulbs in the room for both the Halogen and the LEDs. Note that the reflected wall in the mirror is much brighter with the Halogen lights. With the other, the wall is dim and dark, kind of how the room felt with them. With these Halogen lightbulbs, I get the brightness and overall room coverage that I used to get with incandescent for a savings in wattage that I appreciate.
