Perfect amount of light for my high ceiling light fixture with these 3 bulbs. Tried 75-watt equivalents first that were not frosted. These are much easier on the eyes.

I picked these up after doing some research to make sure they fit in 3 wall sconce fixtures in my kids' playroom. These were a replacement for another LED product that (my mistake) were not dimmable. After installing the first bulb, I noticed that it was WAY brighter than the standard bulbs that were still in the other 2 fixtures. It wasn't even a subtle difference - this bulb seemed at least twice as bright as the others. And the dimmable feature works beautifully, with incredible range. Very happy with these, and if they last as long as other LED bulbs I've used, buying these again will be a no brainer!

The ecosmart 40-watt equivalent B11 dimmable energy star frosted led light bulb gives a bright white illumination. It is wet rated and ideal for bathroom usage, or other locations needing a bright light. It is also dimmable to allow for toning down if desired. Since it is LED it only uses 4 watts per bulb providing significant savings over the life of the bulb.

The EcoSmart B11 40-Watt Equivalent candelabra base filament LED light bulb is a stylish replacement for traditional incandescent bulbs - with all the benefits of LED technology. The color temperature of this light bulb is Bright White (3000K). These LED light bulbs are dimmable, even when mixed with incandescent bulbs, have a frosted all-glass exterior and provides an even 360 degree distribution of light. The EcoSmart LED 40-Watt Equivalent decorative LED filament light bulb is rated to use only 4-Watt of energy - that is a significant savings over an incandescent bulb of the same lumens. The 15,000-hour lifespan and 5-year warranty makes these light bulbs a great choice for applications in the home. I plan on replacing several fixtures worth with these.

I like the Ecosmart 40 watt LED light bulbs because I like the frosted look over the clear. I am not sure about the vintage Edison glass filament as the filament is not visible through the frosted glass. I installed all three bulbs in a lamp that is set on a timer to come on in the evening and go off at day break. It was a perfect fit for these candelabra base bulbs. The package was the easiest opening I have come across in a long time.

These are good lightbulbs. They arrived in good condition packaged securely. It was easy to screw them into my light fixture. The brightness is what I’d expect for a 40w equivalent bulb. They say they’re bright white but they don’t feel quite as white to me as other white bulbs in my home (but that could be because of my fixture or the paint color, etc.) My fixture isn’t dimmable so I can’t comment on that feature of the bulbs.

These bulbs are bright light, candelabra base, dimmable and wet rated. The light color is a cool white; they have a frosted glass appearance. They are “suitable for wet locations,” and “suitable for enclosed fixtures.” It’s a no-brainer that all bulbs in all places should be converted to LED; the energy savings alone justify it, and the long life of LED bulbs (these proclaim 13 years) further justify any up-front costs. Candelabra base LEDs had been late to the game, but now they are much more readily available.

Frosted glass provides authentic incandescent glow. Pros: mini candelabra base truly fits original bulb socket..believe it or not some led bases do not make full contact Not a problem..does not get hot only warm. No flickering.. Several installed in my ceiling fan fit the small 15 watt original bulb space, but room to spare. Cons: none. Seems like a real OEM bulb.

We have a chandelier in our breakfast area in which we currently have LED filament style, clear light bulbs. These light bulbs are covered with little clip on shades so the bulb itself is barely visible but, while seated, the clear bulbs go give a bit of glare. So, let's test out the frosted bulb: it eliminates the glare from the clear bulb, provides,I believe, equal volume and quantity of light and runs just as cool as the clear bulb. Guess we're changing out some light bulbs. They should last for a long while, but, truth be told, one of the EcoSmart clear bulbs gave out after about a year. Very surprising.
