Works great with Zigbee and Home Assistant once bulb is unpaired from remote. Follow instructions included with the bulb to unpair it from the remote and then put it back in pairing mode. Should be picked up by Home Assistant as "Ecosmart-ZBT-A19-CCT-Bulb". Using the included tool to manually reset the remote puts it into pairing mode and is discovered as "LDS ZBT-CCTSwitch-D0001". Now to figure out what I can do with it. :) By itself, the bulb is a "meh" value, but if the remote can be utilized to control another device, then the value is quite a bit greater. I assume that other hubs/controllers that support Zigbee should work, as well.

I ordered both the smart bulb with remote (includes only one bulb) & a twin pack of smart bulbs. The remote is paired with the bulb supplied with it; I paired the other two bulbs with the same remote. When used in the same room the remote controls all three bulbs. The pairing process is straight forward & takes only about a minute. I included a video, which shows the remote turning on two of the bulbs, cycling thru the three pre-set configurations, also dimming & finally turning off both lights. I also turned off the switch which controls these two fixtures & turned it back on again after a couple of hours, the bulbs turned back on with no problem.

The Ecosmart 60 watt starter kit is a really great alternative to Phillips Hue if you’re looking for remote control lighting. It comes with a good amount of features - various warm and cool tones, dimming options and a feature to save settings. the remote comes with a magnetic holder that has 3M strips so you don’t need to drill holes to install it on a wall. I use this in the living room where 9 out of 10 times I don’t want to get up from the couch. It’s perfect for what I need and price point is great.

EcoSmart A19 LED kit includes one smart LED bulb and one remote. This kit is an excellent choice for testing out the benefits of smart lighting. You can create schedules, or automate on/off schedule any time of day through the downloadable application. Each of these smart LED bulbs is equipped with customizable light settings. These bulbs are dimmable via the included remote (do not use on dimmer switches) and use only 9.5 watts of energy to produce 800 Lumens, with tunable white technology, these smart LED bulbs can be set on any color temperature between 2700K (Soft White) and 6500K (Daylight).

This is a twin pack of smart bulbs, which are compatible with ZigBee. ZigBee is a global wireless standard that connects smart devices to one another. EcoSmart sells a starter set, which includes a ZigBee compatible remote. This remote can control up to 20 bulbs. In the video I demonstrate the preconfigured settings included with the remote, which is able to turn the bulbs off & on, cycle thru the full range of temperatures and dimming. These bulbs require a 'pairing' in order to work with the above mentioned remote or an other ZigBee compatible device. This process is straight forward & only takes a minute or so per bulb. Instructions are included with the starter set.

Pros Easy Installation, Great Dimming, Very Bright Cons need a separate device to control dimming/temp

This is my first experience with a smart bulb. I'm very impressed. First, I like that its energy efficient. I put this in a floor lamp that normally has to be turned on/off via a switch on the lamp. Having the remote to turn it on/off is extremely convenient. I found that the remote worked up to 25 feet away from the bulb. It also comes with a magnetic holder for the remote that can be wall mounted. The remote can be paired with more bulbs so that you and control multiple bulbs/lights at once. Its really nice that you control how bright/dim the light is without needing a dimmer switch installed or a 3-way lamp. I also like that you can control the "shade" of light that it produces. You can adjust it anywhere from a very yellowish light to a very clear daylight. I'm very happy with this and will be picking up some more.

Great bulb! Adjusts in brightness and hue all from the included remote. I have included a brief video to demonstrate how the bulb can be adjusted. The remote comes with a little magnetic base which you can mount or just use separate from the base. That’s a nice additional feature. Yes, I would buy again. This is my first smart bulb and I love the convenience

  • January 07, 2020

I tried to make it where 2 switches can operate 1 light (top of stairs and bottom of stairs) and couldn't get it to work. I called the 800 number and they sent me an email saying they were busy because of the holidays and would get back to me. That was December 21, it's now January 7th. They did work by themselves before I tried to have 2 switches control 1 light. Now after resetting them to operate by themselves (back to factory settings) they do not work at all.
