Very good product for the price, fits well in the storage area of my apartment, it definitely take 2 people to assemble the shelving unit.

The unit did not come with connectors. I returned it. How can the company not include connectors? Isn’t that dangerous?

The assembly was pretty straightforward but I ordered two boxes and both were missing parts. One was missing the braces and rails for a complete shelf and the other was missing the extension pieces and caps for the tops of the unit.

Good sturdy shelves. I’d have had wider rivets where the 2 vertical bars join together to allow for some overlap — that would have made installation a little easier. But it’s still a relatively easy build, nice that you only need a rubber hammer.

Was missing a shelve in the package, called and get a new one in 3 days. Excellent customer service!

I bought several of these units and am really happy with them. Some reviews have stated these didn’t sit even on the floor, but if you turn them around and load them, mine evened out. I ended up ordering more to do our entire garage.

The shelf was hard to assemble but works very well

I recently special ordered (because it was not available in the store) the 48" Edsal shelving unit and it came in an unmarked box with no instructions, no connector to put the lower angel brackets (vertical legs) to the upper angel brackets and no rubber end caps for the angel brackets. Then I purchased the Edsal 36" shelving unit off the shelf at home depot in a well marked box showing me exactly what I was buying and it had all that stuff. The shelves are a bit on the thin side (1/2") particle board but it seem plenty strong to hold what I want. I put the heavier stuff (paint) on the bottom shelf and the lighter stuff (paper products) on the upper shelves. Easy to assemble and looks good.

Assembly is unwieldy as it is a snap in unit rather than a screwed together unit which would be much more sturdy and secure. It appeared to be a bolted together unit on the website

Easy setup, however the plywood material is cheap! I wish they can give consumers a better option, in paying a little extra for better quality board.

They need to reenginer the way the vertical post top and bottom sections join together. Not very stable. They need to rework the way the horizontal pieces attach to the vertical posts.

Great item for the price....

The shelf was easy to assembly once we figured out which way the parts went. The instructions aren’t very good. The shelf is durable for many uses, I’m using it in my kitchen as open storage(pantry). I would purchase it again, as a matter-of-fact this is my second shelf.

Disappointed in the pressed wood shelves. All metal Should be all metal. Wouldn’t buy these again.

Not good quality. Even missing parts.

There should be a metal connector piece to hold the top and bottom together. I have another set from Edsal that included that. This one did not and even the instructions do not mention anything about that piece. It is fairly unstable without that connector piece.

This shelving unit fit my needs for my new garage. I will be purchasing at least two more units In the near future
