I used this to cover the open light bowl to keep out the dust. These work great for this purpose as I no longer need to clean each one- as I have 10 fans...with no issues over 2 years. Just be sure you have small 60 watt LED bulbs in the fixture. Anything larger might touch the plastic.

Basic medallion nondescript which is what customer wanted. Covered up previous fixture footprint and did not draw attention away from the new decorative fixture.

It help cover a larger hole in the ceiling that the standard light fixture would cover, once mounted. The only negative comment about this item is that it would seat better to the ceiling if it was made of a little heavier gauge.

The perfect jewelry to my living room ceiling.

Although this would have been the perfect solution to my problem, I would not use it. It is very thin and I doubt that it would hold up well. I even painted it to see if it would be sturdier but it didn't help. I'll live with the paint ring around my new chandelier before using this.

lightweight, easy to install

I have used many Ekena medallions. These are plastic and thin but work just as good as the Ekena urethane. For the price they look great and are super simple to install.

I have bought several Ekena medallions and been happy with the polyurethane ones. However, this is simple, hollow plastic. I would not recommend this.
