We used this for our snack bar in the kitchen. Wanted snack bar to have a finished look with brackets that looked as if they were supporting countertop over-hang. I painted them with no issues; took paint well with two coats of white to match the cupboards. It is crafted beautifully. Sleek-look, solid, modern and well made. These could be used in all decor. I love this look. I highly recommend and would purchase this again.

The quality of the Ekena Olympic Bracket in the 8"...
The quality of the Ekena Olympic Bracket in the 8" RubberWood version is good. They were fully sanded & ready to be painted or stained. Only complaint is that some of the keyhole plates were mounted crooked & had to be reset by me. Attached to wall using #10 wood screws or 3/16" Toggler brand bolts.
