Heavy guage metal, solid hinge. Needs to be mounted adjacent to a wall stud or you need to add one so you can screw into it.

It works and looks great!

Did exactly what I wanted it to. Quality build as well. The inly thing that could be better engineered is the latch. Other than that it was perfect for what was needed.

Very good way to hide a control valve in drywall, yet have it accessible.

Excellent access to drain pipe line.

It was great and easy to install. I would like to change the screw opening to a turn knob...for quick access. Do not want to have to go get a screw driver 2-3 times per day. I am looking now to amend the access door.

Well made. Nicely concealed hinge/pivot. Could have been a 1/4 inch deeper. Strangely not square, nor does it measure 6 inches (or even 5-1/2 inches).

Well designed, sturdy panel door . Perfect for small electrical or plumbing shut-off valves. Easily mounted between wall studs.

Excellent service, excellent parts

Sturdy. Functional. Not perfect. Looks easy to use in new construction, but you'll have to get creative to use this in a drywall hole. I ordered several of these for my project and every one of them had a significant air gap along one side of the panel because the panel was smaller than the frame. I stuck a piece of window weather stripping to the back side of each panel near the hinge and this solves the problem, at least until someone opens one of the panels some day. Also beware the frame will not fit a 6 x 6 opening, it's around 10% larger than that.

Had a 1/4 in gap most of the way around the door. I returned the item for something else.

Just what i needed

Access panel works great! Glad it’s metal and not plastic to meet code for my fireplace.

Shame these are not stocked in store I could only find large and plastic units. This one if far better then store item.
