This level from Empire is outstanding. I originally purchased the 8ft level for doing a yard project, then needed one to do slopes and pitch which made from empire. I had a Stanley level and although its a good level as well, the empire comes with an easy to see and read site glass that verifies of your project is where you want it to be. The finish and quality of these levels is outstanding and the feel of them lets you know that your job is going to come out right the first time. There is a difference between levels. Feel and hold a cheap one in your hand and then feel and hold one of these. You will immediately see the difference. I have used these for multiple project and verified my builds with lasers afterwards and they come out strait and level as can be. They even offer a a level that lights up but is a little more expensive. I dont really do projects in the dark areas so this one is perfect for me. Highly recommended if you are looking a quality level that readily available at home depot.

Highly recommend empire box levels. Ive got two in my collection and plan to add all of the other sizes when the need pops up. Im a homeowner who is very into DIY projects and general maintenance. I would highly recommend. Its a good value for the quality of product you receive

It level

Received this 24” Empire Level today and the first thing I noticed was the precision milled edges. Supposed to be within .0005”. I also really like the way the bubbles are completely sealed in plastic so there is no worry of becoming loose and easy to clean. Bubble on top of level can be viewed from 300 degrees. Level is machined from boxed aluminum tubing. Level has loops on both ends for hanging. Limited Lifetime warrantee, Made in China. Very nice level.

Finally a precision crafted product. Level is machine finished and workmanship is excellent. The bubbles on each end are enclosed in large 360 degree viewer which aids in lining up your marks to insure what you are measuring is level. The built in handles are great for handling as well as hanging/storing the level. Each end of the level has a durable hard plastic endcap to prevent damage. This machined level is heavy duty and should last a lifetime.

The Empire #650-48 aluminum 48 inch level has several features I really like. It's lightweight, yet strong. It has precision milled edges so it doesn't slip or slide off the surface you're leveling like some levels do that have a slick painted surface. It has a 300 degree high visibility view so it's easy to see the bubble, even at awkward angles. It has two handle grips and comes with a limited lifetime warranty. It is a good level for the professional or home builder/remodeler.

I have owned many levels over the years, from steel framed to plastic. One had a built-in light, which was great, except the battery always went dead when I grabbed that level - and who carries tiny batteries. This level is one of the best I've owned. It's big 6-foot, so you're not going to use this to level a picture on the wall. I'm amazed by its light weight (probably one of the lightest I've owned), especially for its length. Happy with its construction, aluminum for a good edge but a (blue) composite for the sides. All my other levels are an open construction, so you can grab them anywhere; this one has two grab holes. At first I thought that wouldn't work for me, but as I used the level I just seemed to grab it where the holes were. The best part of this level are the high visibility "bubbles", where you look to determine whether the work out of level. Using this level at dusk (when the light was fading) I was pleasantly surprised to be able to see the gauge with great clarity. For what it's worth, mine was delivered. The cardboard shipping box is perfect way to store the level.

I needed a 6’ level over the weekend & it was the only option. Cheaply made, I felt like I could dent it if I squeezed hard enough. Ended up returning it

Light and easy to use and read

As soon as I used it for the first time, I found that the blue paint finish COMES OFF ON MY CUSTOMERS WALLS! But I had paid for it and kept using it. I then found out a couple of years later that one of the two vertical viles had gone out of plumb. NO PROBLEM, RIGHT? It came with a limited lifetime warranty, RIGHT? Well I called the customer service number and NOBODY ANSWERED. But they said that my call was very important to them and they'd call back,THEY DIDN'T

Ive needed a box level for tile work for a while now. It is a great addition to my tool setup.

Very disappointed. I'm a contractor and I have bought several of these and they don't seem to stay accurate very long. Will not be buying again.
