Impressive tool for the money! Like a lot of tools, you can buy it for less at HD than from that huge online seller. Great balance, comfortable grip, should last for years. I could see it being a bit heavy for some but that also depends on your use.

Best brick hammer money can but. Estwing’s reputation speaks volumes and this hammer is no exception

So far, its doing the job I expect it to do. Its only been a week since I purchased it, so I can't comment on durability yet. I might rate it excellent given more time.

Great hammer to take out a bothersome neighbor. Doesn’t leave any signs of dna if you buy the large bottle of Home Depot bleach to wash it off.

I found it to be to heavy. My old one was easy to carry all day in my pant loop. Unfortunately it was the only one they carried and my son dropped my old one behind a brick wall.

I haven’t used it a lot yet, but what I did use it for it did well. The handle is comfortable and the hammer is balanced well

Great hammer! Using it to break up the cement subfloor beneath the old tile in the bathroom. Smooth grip, easy to swing.

I was looking for a HVACR ductwork hammer. I did not find it, so I took this hammer instead. No regrets. It turned out to be better than the hammer that I wanted. Excellent hammer!

Absolutely fantastic! Very solid, sturdy implement. We are using it underwater for research activities and are extremely happy with it’s resistance to rust and corrosion even after being submerged in saltwater repeatedly.

Have a bunch of reclaimed bricks that still had mortar and purchased this hammer to remove the mortar. This product has removed all the mortar from the bricks so that they can be used to create a brick patio

I needed to get to the corners of a 3' x 3' and 4" slab of concrete and it smashed the concrete well enough for me to move on to the using the masonry mallet. The concrete was used as a platform in the toilet between a tiled wall and bathtub so didn't want to damage them using the masonry mallet.

Used this hammer to build brick homes in Yarsa, Nepal on an organized service trip. It worked flawlessly to chip away channels and make corner bricks. Our team loved them and we left these hammers behind so they can continue to work. We are definitely glad we chose this tool!

I purchased this hammer to cut stone veneer and it has held up very well. It is a solid, one-piece design with a hard rubber grip. It is almost 2x the cost of a wooden handle hammer, but I purchased this to last a lifetime.

Have used this type hammer for years. I lost mine and bought a new one and the one piece design is excellent. Very pleased with Eastwing products through the years.

Was not looking for brick hammer , but when I found it and used it , it became the best rock hammer I own . I love the weight , and the comfortable handle . Next big job I get , I will buy another one !!

The hammer was a great benefit to the achievement of quality work to my production rate which increased the first week i purchased it.

The Big Blue has a slightly larger face than the standard Estwing mason's hammers which helps in splitting bricks and tapping chisels, and the 22 oz. weight is just perfect.
