Excellent for my purposes. This is how I used these stainless steel nuts.

I purchased these stainless 1/4'' nuts over a year ago to go with 2'' stainless bolts to secure D-rings on my utility trailer for tie downs. These stainless nuts have held up well over time sitting outside in the weather and have provided a strong point to secure cargo. I do not have any dislikes for this product. Please give a thumbs up if this was helpful.

They did the job. They are holding together supports for an outdoor 6x6 treated lumber structure. Too early to tell if they stand the test of time, but they appeared to be good quality.

We used galvanized nuts on a ledger board installed under our home. The ledger board hold steps that are exposed to weather and water can sometimes seep down. Using galvanized nuts will slow any rust that may occur from moisture. I buy my easterners in bulk rather than a few at a time. It is more convenient and saves money. It is nice that our Home Depot keeps a good stock on various types of fasteners.

This offering from Everbilt is a fifty unit per box supply of one-half inch very nice quality galvanized steel nuts, in 13 threads per inch “course” size. If you are working with cut it yourself lengths of half inch continuous thread steel rod, also available in several lengths from Home Depot, or a large number of standard size bolts, you are going to use a more than a few of these threaded half inch nuts, so the economy of this bulk package is attractive. The weight bearing capacity is impressive. They are heavily galvanized, assuring a long service life even in high humidity area use, and the high corrosion resistance means adjustments and even disassembly should not be a problem, as long as you select bolts and other hardware for them of the same quality. The box describes the contents as “course”. Don’t be fooled by this, as the term refers only to the industry standard designation of 13 threads per inch being in the “course” rather than the “fine” thread category, which has more threads per inch, but is not necessarily a better choice for general and high load bearing applications. Never guess, always evaluate your actual needs and carefully select hardware rated for it. This product promises high reliability and long service life. Fifty of these in one place has a bit of weight, so it is appreciated that they come to you in an appropriately strong but small cardboard box with positive closure, to keep them where they belong in transit and on your storage shelf. This is an excellent choice , and I am more than pleased with it.

These half inch coarse thread galvanized steel hex nut came with fifty pieces in the box which was more than enough to complete the deck project. Galvanized nuts and bolts work great for treated lumber to prevent staining. My first thought was, “How did fifty nuts fit in such a small box?”, but they do. After all the kidding was said and done we got to work!

1/4 20.. cant go wrong here. Good for small projects assuming you remember to buy the bolts(or the ones you have are long enough...). OR you were in a rush and ment to get 1/4 washers because you already have 2 boxes of these(now i have three!). There will always be a project that will use these so the more the merrier!

The Everbilt Brand, 25-Piece per Bag 3/8 in. 16 TPI Zinc-Plated Hex Nuts meet my needs for general fastener use where grade five or higher are not mandatory. I find these nuts take high torque very well without yielding or stripping. In the photos below, two of these nuts, lock washers, and corresponding Everbilt cap screws have been used to retain a 60-pound lead acid battery and tray resting on top of a RV frame rail. All the fasteners used in the fabrication of the battery tray are Everbilt brand.

Must have for every DIY'r. 3/8-16 is one of the most common thread sizes found in the U.S. household and you can never have enough hardware in your garage or shop. This is a common nut for general commercial use considered a grade 2 or maybe a 5. I say this because the OEM does not state the grade so you must assume the lowest. Higher grades demand more money and the OEM would definitely state the grade in order to justify the price. Never replace a higher grade nut with a lower grade, bad things can happen. The zinc plating for corrosion resistance is uniform and well applied, starting threads do not have any burrs, overall a good product, recommended.

Well made and a good price Inevitably I will drop a fastener when I am working on a project and it will find a way to a place I cannot access or disappear entirely. And the nearest hardware stores are about thirty miles away. So it makes sense for me to keep spares in my hardware bins. Buying by the bag is the way to go for me, especially at the price point for this item. The nuts themselves are well made, threads and sizes are consistent. I have had no problems with any of them.

The 3/8" Zinc-Plated Hex Nuts will be added to my hardware collection. When you own a home and also do a few handyman chores for friends and family-you can never have too much hardware in your garage or shop. I like the quality of the "Everbilt" brand. This is usually the brand I purchase when I go to local/favorite Home Depot. Sometimes I just make a pass thru the hardware section and grab a few items for "just in case" projects. Great product.

These nuts! OMG, these nuts. They fit amazingly into the tool it’s as if they were made for it. I have never seen nuts so well-made. The surface is smooth and supple. The inner lining is ridged and raised. It’s as if my bolts were made to fit them. I would definitely buy them again.

Nut was used with a washer and lock washer to mount heavy duty tires to create platforms for rolling around our equine feed which is delivered on a wooden pallet. Like the fact of a box and home delivery. Certainly better than being at the store and picking out nuts one by one. So much time is saved by having home delivery.

All of the hex nuts that were in the two packs I bought were consistent in size, finish, and quality. No issues with bad threads or misshapen hexes.
