These straps are made of pressed copper by Everbilt. A good name for various products. They are sturdy, and well made and in America. They fit one half inch pipe, including, copper pipe, PVC pipe, Pex pipe, and any other half inch pipe you may be using. They have 2 pre punched holes for mounting. They do a great job of securing your plumbing, and I have even used then to secure extension cords, to help keep excess cord tidied up. They come in these packages of five.
Pros: Easy to Install, Reliable, Sturdy, made in america
SUMMARY: NICE STRAPS THAT MET MY REQUIREMENT.
BACKGROUND: I’m making a steampunk style storage crate and wanted copper hardware for part of the design. The Everbilt straps worked perfectly.
FIT AND FINISH: The straps are copper, not copper plated steel, and should tarnish nicely to meet the steampunk motif.
SUMMARY: Exactly what I wanted for my project.
This is a good-quality set of five, two-screw clamps for copper piping. I don't do a lot of plumbing, but on occasion I need to reinforce existing plumbing installations, as some of the straps have fallen out over the years. There are no burrs or other imperfections in the straps, and they fit snugly to piping. I do like to warn others to use the proper material for strapping and to not mix your metals: you will have galvanic corrosion if you do!
We used these Everbilt 1/2 in. copper pipe bracket fittings in our bathroom remodel. We took the room down to the joists and studs, so we used these to tightly secure all old and new copper pipe. We used these to ensure that there was no dissimilar metal corrosion that might occur with other methods. These brackets perfectly secure 1/2" copper pipe as they are a "snap" fit onto the pipe which makes them very easy to install. I can attest that we have a bathroom with two vanity sinks, two showers and one toilet, and none of the pipes rattle. Also, the plumbing inspector was very pleased with the tight installation that these allowed.
Pros: Easy to Install, grips pipe tight, copper to copper fitting, holds tight
Handy to have a few around and these Everbilt copper straps appear well made and uniform in shape and size. Should last a long time no matter how and where you use them. Okay, all you plumbers may want to stop reading now. I've used tube straps for some of my crafty projects. For example they hold feathers and little dried flower bouquets really well on scrap board pieces. These copper straps are really shiny, and yes I'm going to say it. They're pretty. (Hmmm, maybe with black screws. I'll need to pick up some more of those.)
They stick to a magnet and dont tarnish. I assume theyre plated in copper..pretty shameless how they will figure out any way to save a few cents. Does it affect performance? I dunno, hopefully they wont corrode due to dissimilar metals while contacting the pipe which is made of real copper.
The copper tube straps are great and will purchase them...

The copper tube straps are great and will purchase them again when I have another plumbing job. I was lucky there was only 2 instead of having to purchase a full package. So many time I only need 1 or 2 of the items and it’s frustrating when you have to purchase 10 to 30 package.
