A quick fix to a bad situation
Brass cap allowed me to put on a quick (temporary) fix to a broken water pipe. I was able to isolate the broken valve at the end of the water pipe, capped it off and restored water to the house.

Could use a rubber washer inside. Would help a little...
Could use a rubber washer inside. Would help a little with dripping. Very good when shut off doesn't work do the job.
