While in the process of moving a pressure switch from the pump to the pressure tank, I thought if I have to do this again I don't want to have to drain the tank. This is one was not to have to do that. A ball valve in line with the pressure switch. Way to make things easier for next time.

Replacement for above ground well irrigation sand filter. Previous one, about 13 yrs old got buried and rusted handle off of brass valve...could not turn off & on any longer. Will keep better care of this one. Good price.

This valve worked very well. Less than obvious is that it's a full-flow unit which enables fluids to pass through it quickly. Other types that outwardly appear similar aren't full-flow and limit the volume of liquid passing through them.

I would like to recommend this product but can't because I have had 2 of them develop leaks. They always develop pinhole leaks on the side not shown in the picture where there is the stamped 'SF' in a circle. I have included a picture of the leaks.
