I used this while running 1/4" copper tubing for a refrigerator ice maker / in door water dispenser. I had a spot where I needed a sharp turn and didn't want to risk kinking the tubing. One thing I really liked is the compression washer is attached to the nut so you are only working with one part and you are less likely to drop it especially when you are working in a hard to reach area. I was easily able to get two wrenches on it to tighten it up without twisting the tubing.

not a big deal. Had them in stock, purchased, & installed without a leak. Priceless !

I'm a lifelong contractor (41 years) I have never had a compression fitting that simply would quit leaking. I'm using it for compressed air at 125 psi. After bottoming out the nuts I was forced to cut the copper and install new nuts and ferrules using thread sealing compound (something I shouldn't have to do). All is well now. I think the separate nuts and ferrules work better than the ones pressed together at the factory.

Nuts had built in commpreson fitting very poor set up

Went through two of these before I could get one to work. Seems like a poor design.
