Everbilt Mending Plates. Includes 4 plates, each with two holes. Hardware included. Roughly 1/2" x 2 ". Made of coated steel so they should not rust. The holes are countersunk on one side so keep this side away from the workpiece. So the screw heads are level with the plate. It is recommended that you drill the pilot holes at an angle away from the break. This should give you more leverage to pull the break together. I used mine to repair a board on an Adirondake chair. Placed one plate on each side of the board. Made sure that the screws didn't interfere with each other. But they can also be used to strengthen a book shelve by tying the cross shelfs to the upright sides.

I recently purchased the Everbilt 4 in. Galvanized Mending Plate (2-Pack) and I'm very pleased with the quality. The plates are made of strong, sturdy metal that is sure to last. I used them to repair a broken corner of a wooden table and they did the job perfectly. They are also very easy to install, with pre-drilled holes for nails or screws. I recently assembled a book case. To make it more stable and safe, I used these mending plates. It was so satisfactory.

Worked great. I used them to fix my adjustable bed base where the wood had cracked along the edges due to shipping.

Needed a piece of strong metal that I can use to extend the end of my driveway gate so I can attach the chain bracket to it for the gate motor to be able to pull. I used 2 of these for that very purpose and it has worked well.

What a surprise this was. It is not only a well made plate but also is texturized. You will see up close that this has a cool pattern to enlighten your use. This is not meant for construction use but rather a decorative use on things like furniture and decorations. The plate is pretty thick for its size and not easily bendable. I am impressed and look forward to making something creative with it!

These are a great value and you get four brackets with eight screws, two are required for each bracket. They are great for adding detail work to smaller projects and they can provides some structural strength to the project too. The dimensions are two inches long by 5/8 inches wide. The screws are a total of 3/4 inches long with the threaded shaft length of 5/8 inch.. Easy to install by drilling a small pilot hole first. They have a nice hammered detail to the brackets with what looks a feels like a thick coat of black paint,

You get four of these 3/4 inch by 3 inches long black plates in each pack, The screws are also included too so there will be no hunting around for the correct screw size, color and shape. The total screw length is 3/4 inch with a 5/8 inch shaft. They are countersunk to fit flush with the bracket. Be sure to face the right side up on the bracket and you'll know if you do the screw heads will sit flush. The brackets have a nice hammered finish and the paint looks durable like a powdered coat. Great for adding detail or structural strength to smaller projects.

These are indeed mending plates. They are relatively thick, around 1/16 inch, and have pre-drilled and chamfered holes for four screws. At five inches each, they are big enough for fastening much of your normal dimensional lumber, such as 2x4s and 2x6s. They are coated in a black finish which is gloss or semi-gloss, so they will be attractive in a number of different applications, such as adding structural integrity to something like a pergola.

These mending plates are not only sturdy and easy to use, but they also look great. They have that antique iron look that makes them almost too fashionable for just mending. Repair takes seconds using the included black screws. They look like they will outlast me because of the strength and thickness of the plates. I would recommend these for areas that are visible to others because of their design.

We got these EVERBILT 5 IN. BLACK HAMMERED MENDING PLATE (4-PACK) to hold down the base of the metal frame for our gazebo. They are very thick and heavy and even have a nice pattern on them. They each have four holes and come with screws, however, the screws are short, so we used longer ones. We get a lot of wind that passes through our yard and our neighbor actually had his gazebo blow down. We are confident that with these plates to hold the frame down, we won't have to worry about that.

We were going to replace some old raised garden beds until we saw the price of lumber. Well, looks like we'll repair the raised beds and wait till next year. The 4-inch mending plates worked excellently! Even the screws bit in and held well enough to pull the loose wood in. We've had complaints about included screws before for being way too soft to grab and hold without the head stripping out. These screws were GOOD. As you can see from pics below the mending plates and screws drew the loose wood together VERY well.

I wanted to help add some sturdiness to a lid on my record console lid I was restoring. It had some pieces of the top that weren’t originally part of the lid and instead of adding a bunch more springs for the new hinges I used a few of these to attach them to the existing lid. Note I did add dowels and adhesive but these helped a ton! Would highly recommend.

The Everbilt 3 inch black hammered mending plate is really fashionably designed for a mending plate. It comes in a 4 pack and also has 16 matching screws to install the plate. The mending plate is pretty sturdy. The thickness is about 1/16 inch. They come in very handy for reinforcing surface joints, seams or cracks. Countersunk design allows screws to sit flush. I'm happy with this order and these look great on our fence post.

These are great little hardware pieces that can be used for trim or added structure. These pieces are both black and one is textured (hammered). The picture will show the difference. The screws provided can easily be replaced with longer screws to add more structure. I used the five inch mending plate on an outside gate. The shorter three inch plates will be used to add strength to a curio shelving unit. They are very easy to install and give a very good look.

These black mending plate are nice. They aren't your usual galvanized metal looking mending plate. They are hammered and textured. There is some kind of black coating that is not the same as powder coating. The design is decorative so you can use this in a visible area and it doesn't' look like you slapped on a cheap piece of metal to fix a problem.

Nice looking with flush screws supplied to match the finish, the hammered finish is very patterned but still looks good. The strap has a littler warp in it but will straighten when mounted. 8 inches true by 1 1/4 inch wide. 1 inch screws are supplied for the 4 mounting holes supplied. The screw holes are countersunk for a flush finish. My project i'm using this for decorative trim for a wood box for a theater prop. I'm not using the screws as i'm using a round headed brad too have the head raised.

More than just looks. I have a sagging cedar fence, the pole that is a problem is on my neighbors side and he doesn’t want to fix it. So I picked these up to strap across the sagging fence runs to reinforce things. They do the job, adding structure to the fence. Made of 1/8” thick steel with a heavy black coat of paint, they offer lots of strength. The kit includes matching black screws, but I needed some bigger screws, so had to replace those. Hope this adds a few years to the fence before I have to replace it.

Dry good looking finish. The paint quality and coverage is exceptional and will add a better look than traditional galvanized steel. It goes well with black fence hardware while surviving screw heads or lag bolts ring attached to projects. This line of fasteners would also be great for pergolas and large scale projects. Gates are probably the area that should frequently use these and right angles.

Everbilt 3 in. Black Hammered Mending Plate (4-Pack) I have a wicker storage box on a counter that is just the right size and shape for that part of my room. But the trim is coming off, and needs fixing, or replacement. I have not been able to find a replacement for the box, since it is rather unique. I have used so many different glues that do not keep the trimmings in place, It just keeps curling, but when I saw these mending plates, I knew I had found a more permanent solution. Their quality and design, along with the black matte hammered finish is a very stylish solution to the problem.

Large, sturdy mending plates from a trusted company. At 8 inches long, these would really do the job on larger applications needing a more sturdy solution. They’re great alone, but use one on each side for added strength. I can see this being used to repair a broken crossbar on a fence or adding strength to a shed door. The black hammered finish adds more style than the silver or brass versions. Add a trusted company in Everbilt and you have a winner.

Though manufactured, the surface of the mending plate has a great texture. Measuring just 2 inches, this can be used at small joints but purchase larger ones if you need the strength. These will do a great job with lighter duty applications.

Everbilt 5 inch Mending plate- This is a pack of 4 mending plates plus the hardware/screws necessary to install them. These are really nice heavy duty plates painted black with a high quality finish. Great for holding two pieces of wood together or to reenforce a special place. Love having them around the farm for last second fixes. These are probably the most heavy duty plates i have seen. A real quality product!
