Well made product. I use this on the cold water side of a water heater to mount and expansion tank. The "tee " is for the cold water supply . It is strong enough to hold a 2 gallon expansion tank. This fitting saves money and time when installing water heaters.

Brass Pipe Tee works great. However, actual product appears different than image here. Fitting I purchased was more machined, sleek and shiny. Nothing wrong with that!

The product is as advertised. No defects - solid brass. Best use in outdoors. Mine is being used as a gas pipe, but water would be acceptable. Too often I see people use black iron or galvanized outdoors - not a smart idea in rainy Seattle. My only issue with the Home Depot and the brass parts offered as I was forced to buy this in lieu of a brass tee with the ends that I needed. Instead of using one fitting, I had to use four (see pictures below). In any piping system, less is more - less chance for leaks, etc. Luckily I had two 5/8" flare to pipe but had to buy a 3/8" to pipe. I know the store cannot stock everything, but at least offer it online. Strangely, HD sells 5/8" fittings but no 5/8" tubing.

It’s a great product easy to assemble

Normally, a tee fitting is just in an irregular blob of metal casting. This was beautifully made and perfect in every way. The threads were perfect the fit was perfect and it really had a great finish. Not necessary for a tee-fitting but it's nice to get a quality item for your money.

Terrible craftsmanship. cannot recommend. Was leaking after being installed within minutes. Tried tape, putty, no luck.

Good quality but a little pricey

I upgraded the output on my compressor from 1/4 in. All the parts here were used to do the job. This part went to make 2 air outlets after the filter and regulator. 1 standard duty outlet and 1 - 1/2" for the heavy duty impacts.

Very sturdy. Easy to screw othe fittings into.

I believe it has a tiny casting defect, as it won't seal properly.

This T is not quite a tee, but it really does move water in different directions.

Bought this for a water softener project. Threads are way to rough which causes any Teflon tape to be cut through which causes leaks. Even tried using plumbing silicone to get a seal but after allowing it to cure for 24 hours there is still a leak. Going to have to go a different direction with schedule 80 fittings. Complete waste of time and money.
