I needed to connect a Pur water filter from my main line under the sink to their provided hose. The filter came with an adapter, but it was set up for 1/2 inch to 1/2 inch with the barb coming out and I needed 1/2 inch to 3/8. I had to piece together my set up and this was one of the pieces I used. I applied teflon tape to the threads for a more sure fit and was able to slide the tube down to the 4th barb. It has been installed for a couple of weeks and there hasn't been a single issue. I don't forsee any either.
On a side note, the plumbing specialist at my home depot helped me pick out the pieces I would need and even opened up the packages to check the fit in store. The main thing we were both worried about was the seating of the seals, but he went above and beyond to make sure that everything would fit before I ever left the store.

After having completely replacing my HVAC system, I wanted to future-proof it and be AC ready. Here in Seattle, most homes do not have air conditioning as our summers are mild. However, summers are continuing to warm. Therefore, as I was replacing the mechanical components (including the supply plenum, return mixing box, and the furnace, air handler and filters), I installed the brass hose barb fitting and a pass through for a chiller line set. Under my water heater which is besides this area, I have a 3/4" copper pipe that runs outdoors for water heater overflows. I added a tee which I connected to this fitting. That way, if I ever put in a coil, the condensate hose could run a mere 2-3' to this fitting and have the water run out of the house (furnaces and water heaters are often installed in garages here in Seattle as there is usually no basements - thus no drains). I placed a red cap over the end and stainless hose clamp on the fitting until I attach a hose in the future.

Use this for a hefty tether point.
This is ideal for anchoring a big rope or steep cable to something. I use these on my dock and also for attaching cables to posts etc. Essentially anything that can have a ½” hole drilled in them and a few inches thick.
It comes with a matching nut, but you will likely alss need to buy a suitable washer if anchoring this through wood. The thread turns a little rough, but it is not a problem at all.
The threaded part is 2-¾” long. Overall length is 8 inches.
Rated for 300 lbs.
Made in China.

This everbilt hose barb fitting was exactly what I was looking for. I'm adding some hose to my air system in my garage and this is the exact fitting that I needed. I've used this brand before I have been nothing but satisfied and happy with the quality of Peace. Anyone looking to do some adapter modifications to the airline system I would highly recommend this peace to you.
This thing worked as expected. However, when I turned it up to level 5, it blew my legs clean off. Maintain proper safety protocol, and definitely do not stand in the blast zone.
