This is a really good, quality hinge. I gave it a 4/5 for one reason only. The instructions state that you should use a 3/8" bit to drill the holes for the screws. When I did this, the holes were too large and the hinge slipped in and out. The previous brand that was carried specified a 5/16" bit for the hole. When I used the 5/16" bit the hinge fit secure and snug. On the first set that I drilled with the larger bore, I ended up having to glue the hinges in so that the door wouldn't fall off.
All-in-all this is a good hinge. The previous brand was my go-to for the 1/2" overlay, but these are an equally good replacement. I plan to use these for my future cabinet doors where I want to use a 1/2" overlay face frame hinge.
