grommets are very weak
The fabric around the grommets will rip with the slightest amount of stress. I would have hoped a tarp of this size to be stronger. I was trying to cover an area for a concrete pour and then we had 15mph winds and it was over. When I was tying it down I noticed I couldn't put any stress on the grommets or it tear out. I even had support lines under but the attachments gave out.

roof leakage protection
This is a waste of anyone’s money. I purchased about 2 months ago with everything rep recommended and it shredded and came apart

This tarp is the real deal. House renovation got held up and required a quick solution to cover the open roof. The structural integrity of the rigging we used failed and water accumulated quickley in one area during a large rain, but it could have been worse. This tarp held the vast majority of water without completely failing for over 6 hours until we could drain the water out. Went back and bought two more like it and stronger bracing to rig it up better.
Not good for tarping a load you want to drive around
This tarp might be good for covering up things around the house, but if you want to tarp a load that you expect to drive at highway speeds, forget about it. I was going to buy the heavy duty version of this, which may or may not have held up better, but the store was out. I will post a before and after picture, and you can judge for yourself. Luckily I sprayed the machine with metal preservative before I left, and the front part of the tarp held up pretty well, protecting most of the bare metal. I gave the tarp a 3 because it would probably be fine if you used for a stationary task. As for using it to tarp a load, it's a definite 0.
