I replace it and it’s working. Just fine until now.

Here is the problem with these. They are hard to get in straight because of weight, but after struggling you finally can do it. But, if they ever go bad, they may never come out. I am trying to replace 2 of these and neither will come out. So no more replacing elements on this water heater.

Fit perfectly. Use 1 1/2 ratchet to tighten. Easy fix.

This product is very durable and easy to install. Great value.

Element ruptured in the tank after less than 6 months. I realize this can happen, but the element became malformed (expanded at the fold) and very difficult to remove--think butterfly anchor. Removal caused minor damage to the female threads in the tank. I replaced it with the standard design and see no apparent leaking from the damaged threads, but never again.

It was easy to install and I like that it has a 5 year warranty.

My 50 gallon water heater has 2 elements. I bought two even though I knew one was still working. Glad I did because the working one was in bad shape covered with precipitates and not operating efficiently. Hot water is now hot as ever.

It worked, it heats water

Burned out after 2 days. I will have to return it.
