This was one of four numbers I mounted outside for our address. It has a very modern sleek look. The wood grain is not noticeable unless you are up close. Installing the numbers was more difficult than you might expect. The mounts are not centered on the numbers making it difficult to line them up or space evenly. Also the mounting hardware that is included uses an anchor that does not have a lip, so when you push it in it will fall through into a hollow space like the pillar we were mounting it on. Over all though we are happy with the look of the numbers.

This zinc alloy house number is 5” high and ½” thck with silvery reflective finish on the face and black finish on the other surfaces. The font and reflective finish provide excellent visibility day and night. There are no specific instructions for installation. The three (3) headless screws mount in the back of the number and the pointed end of the screw mounts into the anchor or directly into wood trim or siding. The three (3) ½” spacers allow for a ½” standoff from the mounting surface.

The mounting screws have a tipped point that would either fit into the plastic sleeve in some applications or directly into a wood surface. I pre-drilled 5/32" holes in my pressure-treated lumber, used the spacers so that the numbers would be held out from the wood surface and easily tapped them into the wood with a hammer and a wooden block. I like how they look, are very easy to spot at night, and they are available in different finishes for custom applications. They do not come with directions/instructions but anyone with common sense and a degree of information about fasteners can figure out the options available for installation.

I'm not overly concerned with this due to the price point and ability to fix it up at home, but it is worth noting.

The silver reflective number is very useful especially when looking for an address at night. It looks dark until light shines on it. I like the reflective numbers because they are sturdy and I think will last a life time. You can actually see the reflection difference compare to ordinary numbers. I didn't set them up yet as I'm looking for other numbers .

It is so much advantageous to have reflective numbers in case someone is looking for the address at night. I like them because they are so sturdy and they can last a life time. This looks pretty good it's painted in such a way where it has a wood grain look to it it's a good size nice shape overall lightweight it'll be interesting to see how long it'll hold up before any of the paint starts to chip but I have hopes that this is going to be nice what I like was the fact that it came with all the hardware to screw this in nice and flush with anchor bolts

If you are wondering it is maple as the backer with a walnut frame. The size is just right, initially I wondered if they'd be too big, but they look perfect, and the finish on them is great as well. They are such an inexpensive upgrade to the thin metal ones I had on the house before and they have really become a statement piece to the front door.

Great and easy to read simple font. The front face has a silver finish while the sides are black. The number is sturdy and feels like it will stand up well to all outdoor conditions. But I also like that the back end of this number is hollow making it much mire light weight. The number plate comes with mounting hardware to help with installation.

Love this distinctive stylish house number but was disappointed that the installation for me was not easy. When my order was received I liked the looks of the numbers and they were well made and finished. The disappointment that affected my rating is they came with no installation instructions or templates. The back of the numbers have 2 or more sockets in which you thread a post. Also furnished is a 5/8 inch spacer to set the number off your mounting surface. I used these posts pointed ends to mark my hole locations- but it was hard to maintain my spacings. The holes have to be precisely located and perpendicular to the mounting surface. I chose to drill my holes slightly larger than the mounting posts and used construction adhesive to secure the posts in the holes.

I really like the looks of these distinctive numbers and they are easy to see in the day and are highly reflective at night. My rating on these numbers reflect the difficulty in mounting them. They came with mounting hardware but no installation instructions, size of drill bit needed, or templates. There is no wiggle room- the holes have to be drilled perfectly perpendicular to mounting surface and precisely located. The number has threaded sockets on the back side into which you thread posts and spacers if desired. I installed the posts and used them to locate my mounting holes- but it was difficult to keep my numbers spaced as I wish. On my final installation I am going to make my own template, drill my holes slightly oversidel and use a construction adhesive in holes rather than the provided anchors.

This is a distinctive well made metal cast reflective number that I am using for my home address. I love the looks and reflective quality. I live on a rural road and the numbers really stand out at night. My disappointment was when the numbers were received there were no installation instructions or templates. I had to go on line to figure out how to install them. I did not find them as easy to install as suggested. The numbers come with 2 or more threaded sockets on the back-you insert a threaded post into it. There are spacers provided so you can mount the number flush to the surface or I used the spacers so the number stands off the surface. The mounting hole location has to be exact and straight for the post to fit in. It is difficult to get the numbers spaced properly and the holes precisely located. I have done a practice installation- for the final installation I am going to make my own template, slightly over drill the holes and use an construction adhesive to fix the post in the holes.

Got three house numbers to mount on our mailbox post. These numbers are stylish and substantial. They look great against the white mailbox post -- good visibility. The 5" tall numbers are metal and are substantial weight for durability. They are a dark, wood-like grain finish and use a fairly modern font. The mounting hardware was included and these were easy to install and look great.

Four stars with some reservations. These numbers are very nice looking and add a nice touch to a modern decor. However, they did not come with mounting instructions and one of the spacers must have missed the zinc coating as it was tarnished right out of the package. Thus a 1 star deduction. Some others have written that the provided anchors pushed right through soft aluminum. Drilling a 7/32" hole is correct, however I recommend screwing the provided anchor onto the threaded bolt, fill the hole with silicone or caulking and using a rubber mallet GENTLY tap the number anchors into the hole. It will hold the numbers securely without damaging soft aluminum or drywall.
