These are very strong and easily fit into the standard ¼” pegboard and position at 90° to the board. The perfect spacing makes the hook stay in place and no wiggle or wobble when putting items on or off. The rounded tip helps things slide on easily but may be a problem for items with smaller holes. They are a true 8” length from the board and easily holds 2 100’ extension cords. I used them in my cellar and in the garage to hold various items and really helped me organize the areas. I like this product very much and would highly recommend it.

As far as pegboard hooks go, you can’t expect much more of them other than them fulfilling their sole function. Construction is 1/4” steel rod with a zinc plating. These will fit standard 1/4” pegboard and will stick out 6” from the board. I noticed they’re not 100% straight; they’re kind of wavy, but for workshop/garage/workbench pegs, they’re more than satisfactory. The plating work is average, it’s on there but the finish is only “adequate”. In a damp environment, a garage where snow and road salt melts off, or a location exposed to salty air like a seaside location; I could see the plating on the pegs degrading and eventually rusting after a few years. I have no evidence of this though, it’s just my anecdotal assessment of the product. I needed to get some longer pegs since most of my pegs on my board in the basement are either too short or are hook shaped and don’t hold everything I want to put on each peg. I like to keep certain things I use constantly in plain sight and on the same peg, or another next to it, so it’s all easily accessible. These pegs slipped right into my existing peg board and are long enough that they will hold numerous items securely and visibly, but not too long that they hinder or interfere with the rest of the items on my pegboard. The only thing that may be a hinderance for some people is that the ball on the end is rather large, and certain packages designed for hanging on pegs may not slip over the end.

Having tools and hardware are great and for me a must-have but if you cat find what your looking for they are worthless. My wife would tell you I'm OCD especially and my shop but being organized saves time that I could be working on a project rather than looking for something. These peg hooks are a good length and have a nice finish. They are sturdy enough to load them to the capacity of the pegboard.

These are not only the thicker variety, they have the nice safety feature of the "ball ends" at the tip so you don't cut yourself. That is a nice-to-have. Also, because of the fortitude of the 1/4 inch stock, you can go side-by-side to hang hammers or other heavier items that hat a T-shaped configuration. I posted a picture of the "hammer configuration" in my photos below. I'll go through and eventually replace all of my 1/8 inch stock with these, but as a guy, I am solemnly sworn to never actually fully finish a project, so...

These Everbilt 10 inches straight peghooks are very strong and sturdy. These peghooks are great for any garage or shed. These peghooks will help you organize your shed in no time. These peghooks are zinc plated and fits 1/4 inches pegboard. This package comes with 12 pieces of 1/4 x 10 inches peghooks. This is a great product by Everbilt. Highly recommend it if you want to set up a nice pegboard with hooks. These peghooks have so many uses.

Ordered the peg hooks for holding larger tools on my pegboards in the garage. The hooks are heavy duty, and the medium length (8 inch) units hold a lot of items. The 8 inch length is about right for a wide variety of items organized on my peg board. I like the durability of the steel hooks with the corrosion resistant zinc plating. Think the 12 pack is excellent quality and a good value for the price.

Review for the Everbilt 8 in. Zinc-Plated Steel Straight Peg Hooks (12-Pack) for 1/4 in. Pegboards. These are nice pegboard hooks. Our pegboard needs a little attention / reorganization. This 12-pack of hooks should be a great help in that regards. The plating is nice. There is good fit on 1/4 inch pegboard. I have had other pegboard hooks that kind of snap in place and are not as easy to accidently knock off the pegboard. Sadly, these do NOT have that feature.

These work great with my peg board. The length is perfect. It’s not too long so it doesn’t get in the way, but it is not too short either. The pegs are very sturdy. It can hold a decent amount of weight. They do not bend easy. They are easy to use. You just insert the pegs where you need them on your pegboard. Since it is not permanently fixed in place, you can easily rearrange them.

Great quality heavy hooks for standard pegboard. The heavy part helps keep them in the pegboard when you take things on or put them back on so you don't get the frustration of having to find the dropped hook (that goes under the workbench where all the 10 pound spiders live). These look hooks are handy for holding rolls of tape, small reels of wire, and, when you put them side-by-side, hammers, screwdrivers, prybars, etc. One word of caution: While the hook is heavy duty, make sure you limit what you're hanging as you can break the surface of your pegboard.

These Everbilt 6” zinc-plated steel peg hooks are used in 1/4” pegboard. I wasn’t happy with some shorter pegs that weren’t long enough to my liking. These hooks can hold 10 pounds but doubt I’ll ever put that to the test, but knowing I can is great. They are quickly installed into the pegboard with a slight elevation and then pull down to level the peg. They fit snuggly into the pegboard and I like the angle at the end with the round knob so things won’t slip off. Like the long pegs because it allows me to hang more in one spot. With 12 in a box, I can organize my work area and get things off the workbench. I am happy with them.

This is a short review for the Everbilt 6 in. Zinc-Plated Steel Straight Peg Hooks in the 12-Pack. These peg hooks will fit 1/4 in. pegboard and as the title mentions, are zinc plated. Each hook is 7-3/4" long overall and the actual straight hook length is 6-1/8". The end of each hook has been blunted and forms into a ball. This shape lessens the chance of getting cut and helps prevent hung items from being knocked off if brushed against. Everbilt lists a 10lbs capacity per hook, which is more for the pullout limit of the pegboard itself than the hook. The hooks are shaped very uniform and fit snugly into the 2 pegboard setups I have in use. All the formed angles were identical, so when you are using 2 or more hooks to hang something, the item will be level. The only flaw I found was the zinc coating is uneven and splotchy on many of the hooks. It won't affect service life or usability, but it is noticeable. One of the hooks had some blotches of rust at the base of the hook. Aside from that small issue, I am certain these Everbilt hooks will provide years of use and help me keep my workshop organized!

I have two garages and that means two walls of peg boards. I have a ton of saws, ear protectors, wrenches etc. to hang up and these pegs from Everbilt are exactly what I need. I am in the process of setting up my outside garage, but with the weather, it has to wait a few weeks. I was glad to see these straight hooks came in 12 packs because I was always double stacking things and that is a pain I don't need. I hung these for the picture below and was impressed with how strong they really are. They do not bend. I believe the pegboard will give before the hooks do. Now that I have enough straight hooks, I will go back to Home Depot and pick up some other styles. It will be nice to finally have all of my new, zinc-plated, shiny hooks looking the same and making it easier to find stuff. You need to visit Home Depot and take a look at the big selection of Everbilt products they have. You owe it to yourself.

I love these peg hooks. The are designed for 1/4 peg board. The 6 inch length gives plenty of space on the peg. The extra length allows you to put two near each other in order to hang up bigger tools between the. The zinc plating resists rust. They do have a small round bump at the end of the peg to keep items from sliding off when you have multiple items stored on one peg.

These Everbilt Peg Hooks are a very good quality. I got the 6” straight hooks because they are heavy duty. They are much thicker than other brands. They slide in peg holes easily and they stay put. They don’t bend or have any flexibility, they are stiff. Make sure you have the thicker peg board if you are loading these up. I am pleased with their welded joints and like the zinc finish.

This is a 12-pack of 10-inch Zinc-Plated Steel Straight Peg Hooks. The pegs are for a ¼ inch pegboard, which is the only size I’ve ever seen. The pegs are 3/16 of an inch thick. They’re zinc-plated and rust resistant. If you have a pegboard, you can hang all kinds of items on the pegs (not just tools and garden equipment). You do want the bulk of the weight to be near the pegboard and not at the far end of the peg. I would recommend these pegs. For those that are interested, the pegs are made in China.

This value pack of 12 pegboard hooks is a good choice, if you need to organize a work area. The hooks are designed to be used with 1/4" pegboard. They are what I would consider to be heavy duty. They are zinc plated, and the finish is smooth without any rough edges. For my purposes (organizing my upholstery supplies) they are perfect. I plan on picking up a few more packages.

What's not to like about this item? These hooks are sturdy, well designed, fit the pegboard tight and were under a dollar each. I bought a dozen for my tools but I decided to use them to hang my acrylic paint tubes instead. I have ended up buying two more dozen for my board. I even lined up four hooks side by side to hold my mouse sander. Great item.

This is a good addition to any pegboard. It's perfect for hanging items still in store packaging and can also be used for storing paint brushes, rolls of tape, etc. It was a little hard to wrestle into the board, but once in place, it's been sturdy. As others have mentioned, it's just about impossible to get the sticker all the way off. I decided just to tear it off as close to the hook as I could and leave what was stuck to the metal in place, at least that way I didn't have to deal with the sticky residue. Not a huge deal, but not the most aesthetically pleasing option. Good hook for relatively light weight items and for the price you can't go wrong.
