No Japanese or Chinese hardware works as well as the hardware made in the USA back in the day but it will do for lack of anything better

Heads would strip when trying to screw them into wood

Perfect for the project. Used for fastening bed rails to the frame.

yet another example of piece of garbage, made in china inferior product. heads stripped on final drive

Ok wood screw. Threads are evenly spaced and hold in the wood well. The Phillips head on the screws holds up under stress and does not strip out.

They suck. I drilled holes into a wooden table leg. When I screwed in the screws, they snapped in two right at where the threads start. This happened twice.

These are very strong screws.

Very low quality low tensile strength metal. Will not purchase these in the future.

Out of the 10 pack I twisted 4 of the heads off by hand. I was screwing them into the end grain of birch ply with a pilot hole. Poor quality.
