I've done carpentry and cabinetry for over 30 years and these screws are poor quality and machined terribly. While hanging some melamine cabinets on a wall in the laundry room of a house I had several of the screw heads snap right off when driving screws though the nailer piece onto the wall even after countersinking screw holes. Now the cabinets have extra screws that aren't holding onto anything and can't be removed. Stay away from this brand.

The whole line is inferior. We were hanging shelves and went through a box no problem, but four different screws snapped in half inside the drywall, forcing us to move the spacing of the shelves and leaving several holes to fill. Absolutely ridiculous.

Absolutely terrible quality. These are the BORG carries now and they are just awful. I bought several boxes recently for a project. These were used to secure 1/2" Oak Plywood to wall studs. All holes were predrilled and countersunk before the screws were used. It should be noted that the holes completely passed through the plywood and into the studs. Upon driving most the screws stripped to one extent or another and more than a few had the heads simply pop off when the screw was halfway into the wood. Many were able to be driven in to depth anyway but too many had to be backed, drilled or painstakingly backed out by turning with pliers. These screws appeared to be made out of tightly packed tinfoil. In addition maybe a few of the screws in each pack were 2" machine screws and not the screw I paid for. Fully one box and a portion of another were devoted to screws that broke upon driving in some fashion. If all Home Depot is willing to stock is this brand i will be looking elsewhere and likely online for better screws from now on. This is not the first bad experience with this brand of screws but it is the worst and it will be my last purchase of them. This is the kind of experience I would expect from the no name screws one can find at Grossman's Bargain Outlet or Harbor Freight.

I read others review and got little worried but since the other ' store" did not have any 2" available, believe it or not, and I like HD better anyway, I bought these. Unfortunately they strip way too easy, unless you really hold the drill down and hard so the drill bit is super positioned in the screw head. What a disappointment. How hard is to make a solid screws these days. anyhow, it works but quality is not there anyway.

Saying "4" because they didn't work or me. The reason I wasn't happy is when I tried to put in the screw, it wouldn't go past the teeth of the screw into the wood! I lost several screws, because when putting pressure on the drill, all it did was chew up the inside of the head and go into the wood no further. The box said "Wood screws" so thought I had the correct ones. Next time, I'll get the deck screws I was going to get instead. No one here to ask, so, as a widow, I forged ahead, and my neighbor's Dad came and helped me finish! What I didn't know was, I should've drilled the hole through into the 1st board before trying to do it with the 2 boards together and only a beginning hole.My husband wasn't here to ask, and he would've done it for me! Guess I'll need more practice!
