I’m goving this 2 stars because the wax ring itself seemed to be well made. But the box I picked up from the store was missing the bolts. My husband went back to the store halfway into his project to get a replacement, and every box he looked in was missing the bolts as well. He ended up getting a whole different thing at a local hardware store. Very disappointing and a huge waste of time

Everything was perfect

I am a Do It Yourselfer (DIY) and it was my first time installing a toilet. I purchased this traditional wax ring instead of the newer rubber models. I decided to install the wax ring after reading many reviews that rubber rings leak. This ring was the correct size. appx 6 inch diameter. it included a plastic spacer. The ring was thick appx 17/8 and about 17/8 tall. Included two brass screws appropriate for the installation. I was able to mount the toilet without a problem after the area was cleaned. The wax ring was not slimy. It stay in place during the mounting. Tip: Having an extra person will definitely help but it can also be a one person job. Paint the wall behind the bowl and measure the hole for a new rubber gasket that goes between tank and bowl..

This toilet ring was good and I recommend picking one up. The one that came with toilet was pretty thin and cheap and the person I hired to install toilet immediately tossed it once he saw I bought this extra thick one since since it was recommended when I bought toilet.
