This pump is supposed to be powder coated and rust proof. After 24 hours my pool is rusted and the whole pump is rusted. Contacted the manufacturer...waiting for a response. Will be returning! It’s definitely not powder coated!

Plumber put in another sump pump but continued to be blocked by the dirty water so pump was useless. The other pump had intake holes that were small and constantly plugging limiting the discharge - pump never shut off but it was not pumping anything. This Everbilt pump - although it is alittle overkill on the horsepower but one of the few I found that was not did not have a tethered float - has a much larger intake hole that doesn't clog like the previous pump. It takes no time pushing out the water and with the 4-5 foot height I have from the cellar hole to the ground level for discharge - it has plenty of pressure sending it out. The pump is heavy so helps secure it in the hole. Would HIGHLY recommend the Everbilt!
