Chose these as they were a match for the brackets I'm replacing on our handrail that I'm refinishing. Picture shows they are smooth when in fact they have a casting ridge that runs the length of the piece. Makes it look like the cheap MiC piece that it is. Would not have purchased if the picture had shown the casting ridge. I'll be returning.

I put up my own hand rail with these 2 pieces of iron and a piece of scrap wood. I just painted the wood to look good. Very easy. I got tired of holding onto the window seal just to climb these 5 stairs. Looks great. Now can go upstairs alittle more easier. Thanks.

Perfect. Used them to add a safety railing in hallway for my elderly parents.

My store had two different finishes labeled as oil rubbed bronze. One was what I wanted, “aged” oil rubbed bronze, with some bronze accents while mostly black. The majority of their stock would be better described as matte black. Both were labeled “oil rubbed bronze”. They didn’t have enough of the finish I wanted so I had to order online from another retailer.

Good looking item. Very easy to fit to 8 foot hand rail with single screw into wall and then range to fit to rail. Much sturdier than old brackets.

I wish it had been oil-rubbed bronze, but the person helping me said they only carried silver or black. Not much choice!! Was looking for gold to match the door handles. Too bad you don't even know what products you have!!

Easier to install than old three screw set as you only have to hit the stud once.
