Great curtains but they are definitely not blackout. The good thing is didn't need them to be true blackout curtains. They have a great crisp white color and hang great. As long as your not buying them to be real blackout curtains you wont be disappointed. If you want real blackout buy something else.

beautiful curtains
These curtains are soft and silky and hang nicely. Plus they're easy to iron and are a solid white. Compared to other curtains i bought, these are keepers :)

Not sure how "blackout" is being defined.
The curtains are a thick material, smooth and nice looking. Very wrinkled out of the package which will look worse depending on how light the color is. The main issue, however, is that they didn't black out any light at all - in fact the curtains in white made my room brighter than the generic lined curtains I already had. Using "blackout" in the title and description is misleading.
