I was thankful to find this battery at Home Depot at a price that was much less than similar batteries at other stores. After I installed it in the parking lot and brought my old battery to customer service, it was simple to get the core charge refunded to my credit card. The battery was a perfect fit even though the website said it was not. The only thing that didn't quite fit was the vent hole. It was a bit too large so my vent's fitting was a little loose. I will fix this with some plumbers putty. If the battery lasts 3 years, it will have met expectations.

Just installed so too early to tell durability but so far so good. Good price and 36 month guarantee so we’ll see.

I purchased an Exide SPRINTER MAX 12 Volt Lead Acid 6 Cell H8/L5/49 Battery on June 22, 2021 from Home Dep. For some reason it died and was within 3 years of purchase, so I visited Home dep on 2/26/2023 and the staff at home dep replaced me with a new same battery for free. After installation it works great. Thanks Home Dep, a good company. Therefore, it is completely untrue to say that HomeDep is not responsible for the three-year guarantee on the Internet.

Buyers be aware Home Depot will not honor the 3 year free replacement that's clearly written in from upper right on the battery. You will have to deal to painfully deal with Exide. Do yourself a favor and just get a good quality battery where you can have the warranty honored. My dad kept telling me just get a DieHard battery for an $100 with a warranty that will help you and not send you back home with your bad battery like Home Depot did.

Store will sell you the battery but when it goes dead within the warranty period. The store will not do the 3 year free replacement. They give you a number for the "manufacturer" for warranty. It unacceptable service for car battery. My car is now immobilized. Calling home depot Corporate in the morning and file a complaint.

I bought this battery in October of 2016. It’s finally struggling to start my little diesel in January 2023. Very impressive for a battery to last that long. I just purchased another one to replace it. It’s also a great price! Much less than a similar battery from an auto parts store.

Battery failed prematurely. After just 2 years and 1 month, it could no longer hold charge. Tested bad. Brought it in for the advertised "Free 3-year replacement" with original receipt but the employees and even the manager didn't know how to process the replacement. After 20 minutes of back and forth the manager finally agreed to replace it.

Battery had been sitting for 3 years (on the shelf?). It had 10volts when I got it home and after 3 trickle charges it finally registered as a “good” battery.

I have had very good luck with Exide Sprinter batteries. Far better than the expensive Interstate is the past. And who would have thought that you could buy a car battery at Home Depot? Very cheap...especially when you add the discounts sent to you in the mail or a new credit card holder. The only problem is the website that told me that this battery wasn't a match for my car. I knew better. But some won't know and will pass up a very good battery at a very good price.

This worked great for 2011 Genesis Sedan - I did check that the charging system DOES adapt to standard Lead-Acid charge profile. The main things you have to be aware of, especially if the battery resides under the back seat or in the trunk: 1) The vent attachment is important for interior installations. Note that the vent end CAN be reversed by using an appropriate screw to remove the plug, and swap to the other end. 2) It is liquid, can leak. 3) Might not be ideal if car only wants AGM battery

Great battery I needed a battery to keep up with my Race Car and this is doing the trick spins my 347/Supercharged High Compression engine as if it where a 16 volt battery love this thing and a 3 year warranty to boot can't go wrong.

I bought this for my 2019 V8 Range Rover. Weighs 55.5 LB, only 1.5 LB less than the AGM Factory battery made by Exide which failed in 3.5 yrs. This is good value for a 950 CCA battery with strong Reserve Capacity. AGM is over hyped - a solid heavy Flooded battery like this H8 Exide is as good or better, and can last longer; (make sure you connect battery venting tube if installing inside car.) Thank you Home Depot for carrying these and charging a fair price, I really appreciate it.

The battery is something I don't touch or see. They are rated for cold amp cranking, which at 950 is no different than batteries selling twice the price. It came with a 36 month warranty, just like the competitors. The most important thing is that it works well, and so far it does that well. So, save your money and get the Exide battery for your car.

High CCA for a very reasonable price

Home Depot had, by far, the lowest price on this battery, and it was in stock on the shelf. So far, it has worked great. An exact replacement.
