We returned the gate because it must be permanently mounted which we did not notice when making the purchase.

Easy to install and very sturdy.

The alignment of the screws is really hard to get right. It also does not look stable enough to stand against a determined baby or pet.

The gate has been wonderful for keeping the area blocked off. It was simple and easy to install. The only gate we have found that will expand across the doorway and has no threshold to cross.

Gate is well built, perfect for extra wide spaces, easy to assemble and attach to a wall, it’s exactly what I was looking for and needed to keep my pup out of the living room while no one is home. I Definitely recommend this gate

The gate seems to be built well but the way it mounts to the wall is not good i have had a few problems due to the mount and came up with my own that is much better!

Easy to assemble

The wood came untreated, and it is pretty thin. The Gate is designed to be attached to wall with enclosed eye hooks which looks cheap and is somewhat movable when you open the latch to get out. Overall seems flimsy and poorly thought out design.

Great gate, perfect width for the space we needed. The gates slide a little more difficult than I expected. Overall I would buy this again.

Great gate for the price. The size of gap between kitchen and dining is too wide for smaller gates. I like the fact that I can completely remove or use as a swing gate. The best part for me is that it’s not permanent so I do not have to walk over a bar when not in use.

Bought 3 of these gates and feel like I should have returned all of them on the first couple days of use. The gates are extremely fragile; a push from my 14 month old made it fell a part several times. I kept trying to fix it but a staple or simple screw (on a pre-drilled hole) would split the wood immediately. Kept adding new pieces of wood (same size dowels, etc), reinforcement metal plates that made it somewhat usable, but I feel that by now I built a whole new gate (s) and spent as much as a new gate to try to make those two work. Ended up never using the 3rd gate that I kept on the box and just returned it out of frustration.

Poorly made. Cheap wood held in by staples. Also the wood is not finished. Also will not work with a 60 inch door way.

It took us a long time to figure out how to assemble and install this gate with the instructions sheet. It is easier if you look at the photo on this site. There are 4 hooks, 2 on each end that allow the full gate to swing open to the left or the right. I love the fact that you can also remove the gate easily by unhooking all 4 hooks if you need full access to your stairs. This is exactly what I needed for our stairway out front that is over 5 feet wide. It hooks open easily by pressing the white button on top.

Uses screw eyes to attach to wall. Works as expected and spans a wide gap. Wood is completely unfinished allowing it to be stained or painted.

After searching for awhile, this was the only gate big enough for what we needed. (And that wasn't over $100). It doesn't seem very stable, but it does the job.

Very easy to measure, with the exact measurements given. Four small holes and putting the eyes in and done. Just hang. Works beautifully. Mounted outside for front porch to block ducks from the area.

It was easy to install. Easily keeps my dogs and grandchildren away from the stairs on my deck.

Just what I needed to keep my puppy or my grandchild from falling off the front porch steps. Delivery was quick.
