Bought gloves on a Sunday, and returned them next day, after only one use. Threads/stitching, which seem to be made of tissue paper, disintegrated and pulled out, plus holes in fingers. Synthetic leather is junk and developed multiple holes in fingers. "FIRM GRIP TOUGH WORKING GLOVES" per attached tag: NOT!!! DO NOT BUY!!!!

I am a firefighter and purchased these for enter use. I recently had occasion to use them during cleanup after a house fire. They held up to several tasks, including carrying a ladder, and crawling on rocks under a deck. They were easy to wash and kept my hands warm.

unexceptional gloves; extremely long fingers; much different from photo
If your fingers are so unusually long that you have trouble finding gloves that fit, buy these. These supposedly XXL gloves are snug on my admittedly chubby but normally proportioned hands (on which normal XL and even some L gloves fit just fine), but there's nearly an inch of extra space at the end of the thumb and each of the four fingers. The packaging loudly touts touchscreen compatibility, which I verified on my car's navigation screen, but I had to force my finger all the way to the tip of the glove for it to work. Nearly all of my gloves that fit also work the touchscreen without bragging about it, so it's not such a hot selling point anyway. The inside feels soft and warm when you first put your hand in, but out in a cold wind they're no warmer than any other cloth gloves insulated with Thinsulate, and MUCH less warm than well-insulated mittens. On my way out into a blizzard, I would not reach for these Blizzard gloves. The pocket for a not-included hand warmer (whatever that is) is on the back of the hand just above the wrist, so I'm not sure how helpful that would be. My fingers are almost always cold, but I don't remember the lower back side of my hand EVER feeling uncomfortably cold in 68 years. So I would not invest in hand warmers just because these gloves have pockets to put them in. When I pulled the hand-warmer pocket open to see how deep it was, one half of the Velcro came off, which was not encouraging. (The pocket doesn't reach as far as the knuckles, by the way.) Finally, the gloves I got look very different from the photo currently displayed for them. They're black instead of gray, so the oddly bright white top-stitching stands out even more. The manufacturer apparently has changed its name from the sensible Firm Grip to the cheesy Big Time Products, but when they made that change they wisely just removed the manufacturer's name from the outside of the glove. They did come up with a snazzy new bright-white Blizzard logo (it reminds me of the bright white lightning-bolt inserts in the sides of a pair of black loafers I had in about 1961), but the font they used makes it look as much like Buzzard as Blizzard.

Great look and feel comfortable fit.
This pair of gloves look and feels great. They are very comfortable and warm. Black Sleek insulated and made to allow a firm grip and equipped with hand warmer pocket. It is only the end of October here where I live and we have been experiencing warmer than usual weather. I have no doubt very soon these gloves will become part of my daily wear when I head out to the great outdoors. Because of the thin insultaed material they will also be excellent for driving.Example: the drill was really easy to assemble, lightweight and not noisy. I am really pleased with the battery life and was able to use the drill without charging for over an hour of heavy duty use...

Inexpensive alternative to fancy driver's gloves
I found these Blizzard gloves to be a little tight on my 7" long (finger tip to top of wrist) by 4" wide (edge of thumb to edge of pinky across palm) hand, with the "squeeze" being felt at the top of my hand. Contrary to its claim of being touchscreen-friendly, it was far more difficult to use either any touchscreeen device (I have an e-reader, pad-like phone, and pad-like computer) than I would have with my bare hands (perhaps a plastic "bump" at the tip of the index finger would have helped). The hand-warmer, pack, pocket is at the top of the hand, but is very narrow, so it can only take thin hand-warmers, which, in my experience, don't last very long, compared with full-sized hand-warmers; I can't imagine why the mfr didn't simply add more space for such, which could even have been used to hold keys, coins, etc! Putting aside those two "functions," the gloves are flexible and thicker than standard driving gloves, but thinner than winter/ski mittens, though they do feel as if they would keep my hands warm in the cold (the weather was above 60 degrees when I tried them out, so, I put them in my zero-degree freezer, moved some items around, and felt almost no cold even after 5 minutes, even though my bared wrist was chilled immediately; my hand started feeling a little chilly after the 5 minutes, but, I think they would have stayed warm a little longer). The leather fingertips on the index finger, middle finger, and thumb, make it easier to pick up and hold items, and the padded palm cushions against hard surfaces, yet it is surprisingly flexible. These are an inexpensive alternative to thinner and fancier driving gloves, and can be used for many outdoor activities, both for work and play (not sure how they will do with making snowballs, though!).

    Good warm work gloves
I have average size hands and the large size gloves appeared to be too tight of a fit around the knuckles the first time that I tried the gloves on especially when making a fist to grip and pick up items while wearing the gloves. The finger lengths were good and were not too long or too short. The gloves fit comfortably now and no longer feel too tight after they were broken in through wearing them while working on outdoor projects for several hours. The outdoor projects required a lot of gripping and picking up objects and debris, operating power and hand tools, driving screws manually and through using a drill and also climbing up and down an aluminum ladder several times. The gloves provide a good grip and allow good finger dexterity to be able to pick up and hold small objects such as nails and screws. Can comfortably operate power and hand tools while wearing the gloves. Three finger tips on each glove have a special rubber coating to allow touch screen devices to be operated while wearing the gloves to avoid having to remove the gloves. The special finger tips on the gloves have to be kept dry and clean for reliable operation of touch screens. It is possible to operate a smart phone while wearing the gloves, but it takes a little practice to minimize the finger contact surface area of the gloves on the very small touch screen areas on smart phones. Each glove has a warming pocket pouch on the inside of the glove facing the back of the hand that has one opening near the cuff with a Velcro closure. The warming pocket inside of each glove measures approximately 3-3/4" long by 2-1/4" wide. Did not give the highest rating for the gloves because of the first impression with a 2-1/2" long thread hanging off the cuff of the right glove that did not appear to have been tied off properly to end the stitching. The gloves are reasonably priced and are a good work glove so far. Time will tell on how long the gloves last while performing activities that wear through work gloves fairly quickly such as raking leaves, cutting and picking up tree branches and limbs, shoveling snow, etc. Looking forward to using the gloves in the winter for shoveling snow and for roof raking.

    My new snow blowing gloves
These are awesome. Well padded, comfortable, and warm. There are hook and loop closed pockets inside the gloves (on the top) where you can put hand warmers if needed. This is a great idea and something I will definitely take advantage of. These are well put together and the quality of materials is good. They are more work glove than winter glove, but that's why I got them Another feature I was not expecting was the fact these will operate capacitive touchscreen devices (smart phones/tablets). I listen to music on my phone while snow blowing and it's annoying taking gloves off to change tracks I do think these run small. I got the large size because I like to wear glove liners when I'm going to be out in the elements for a few hours (snow removal). Normally I wear a medium. These are a bit on the small size for a large as they fit me almost perfectly. I highly doubt these are waterproof, but I give my outdoor gear a good coating of NeverWet from time to time anyway so I'm not concerned They've come in handy already while raking leaves in the unseasonably cold snaps we've had. They will be very welcomed once the snow starts flying.

    Great Work Gloves!!
This is a great pair of warm work gloves. The gloves have a pocket for a hand warmer. Excellent gloves for working outside during the winter. I like to use the gloves for using the snowblower. The gloves offer enough warmth without giving up flexibility of your fingers. Unlike other winter gloves, these gloves give you the ability to use your fingers for a somewhat precision feel. I love them. Strongly recommend!!!

    Good Glove
Overall I think I like the XL Blizzard Gloves with Hand Warmer Pocket. Although it isn't winter yet, they do feel fairly warm, so I think they will suit me well when blowing snow when it starts to fly. The extra pocket on the inside of each glove should help a lot when I place a small hand warmer inside. I've never seen a feature like that and think it's brilliant. In addition, I like the touchscreen compatibility. The thumb, index finger, and middle finger are all capable of interacting with a touch screen. And although I found it difficult to press the home button on my Samsung S3, I was able to use it with some force. Overall, this is a great feature that I am happy with. As for the size, I noticed that another reviewer mentioned that his gloves were a bit snug. I personally have very average hands, and with the extra large size, my gloves are pretty comfortable. However, if I ordered a large, they would have been too small. So, I guess it is pretty safe to say that the gloves run small. Order a size bigger than you normally do just to be safe. The only negative I have found is that some of the stitching is coming loose. I haven't even used the gloves outside yet, so this doesn't bode well for their durability. However, for less than $10.00, what could I realistically expect? So, overall I would recommend the XL Blizzard Gloves with Hand Warmer Pocket to any friend or family member, with a warning that they will probably not last more than a season or two with moderate use working outdoors.

Decent product with hand warmer pocket and touch phone support
Got the gloves. They are decent quality, well built and look nice. The touchscreen works from 2 of the fingers and is a plus. The hand warmer pocket is a good to have. It's not winter yet and I hope they hold up to their name and save my hands. On size, I ordered large and they fit me great. Note that my hands are not too big, just bear that in mind.

One Of My Favorite Set Of Gloves
My size is Extra Large so the size is correct, not to small or large. The inside of the gloves are soft plus the index finger and middle finger can be used on a touch screen. The palms are reinforced and the hand warmer pouch is in on the inside of the gloves so a hand warmer packet can be installed. The biggest pro is that they are very comfortable to wear.
